We originally booked Charterhouse but due to maintenance works required.
We were not disappointed. The Spinney is a spacious, stylish and modern lodge providing luxury and comfort.
Set in immaculate surroundings, an ideal location to visit the nearby attractions or a perfect way to spend time relaxing.

Our second stay this year and we enjoyed both visits. Very peacefull. Although the weather was not what we hoped for it didn't detract from the quality of the accommodation.

What made you choose this particular lodge?
It had everything we required and the patio area would face the sun for most of the day.

We were honestly wowed when we walked in. The presentation of the accommodation was stunning and every little detail had been thought about carefully. It provided a homely, yet modern feel with everything you could need after a day exploring the surrounding area, especially the hot tub! Before the first day ended, we had already discussed coming back here next year!

Wow didn't disappoint! It was our 3rd time staying at the Spinney and 4th time at Strawberry Fields.
The lodges are high end, comfortable ,clean and spacious. The hot tub was lovely and relaxing and to watch the stars at night. Such a quiet and great location for Cheddar Gorge and Wells.
The grounds were well maintained.
As on arrival, you are always checked in on to see that you have enjoyed your stay. A personal touch.
Definitely a 5 star

This was our 5th visit to Strawberryfields. Once again, we had a lovely relaxing stay in such beautiful surroundings, with a bonus of the hot tub. I would fully recommend these cabins for 'Get away from it all' luxury.

This was our second time staying at Strawberry Field. The lodges are amazing, the staff are friendly and always take time to chat, ask how your stay is going etc.
I couldn’t recommend this place enough. My friends are wanting to go away and I have given them the details as I am so confident they will also love it.

I can’t wait to return again.

We had the most beautiful time at the spinneys wish it could have lasted longer.nice clean place with lots of things to do near by. Will definitely come back with kids. We had long journey coming from all the way from dewsbury West Yorkshire well worth it recommended everyone & have a good time

We stayed for 7 days in the Spinney lodge at the beginning of September. Luckily had fantastic weather so spent a lot of time relaxing ont the large decking area and in the sunken hot tub. The lodge is quite roomy and well equipped with high quality tech. I'd recommend Strawberryfield Park to anyoneooking for a luxury, peaceful break in lovely surroundings

The lodge was a short drive from new areas we enjoyed exploring. We could relax and enjoy the hot tub before we went out and after a days exploring come back to a comfortable lodge for either another soak or put our feet up and enjoy a drink. The lodge was in a sheltered and private spot. Lots of nice pubs and restaurants within easy access - so all in all with everything combined we had a very relaxing week. We would definitely come back again and would not hesitate to recommend a stay to anyone-indeed we already have.

A most wonderful eco-lodge in a tranquil setting in the heart of the Mendips. Close enough to the City and surrounded by wonderful countryside. The lodge is fitted with top end fixtures and fittings and is well equipped. Bed is extremely comfortable and large! Hot tub on the decking area with loungers, cosy seating and table, chairs and BBQ. All well maintained and very plush. Can highly recommend.

This is our second time at Strawberry fields, it’s such a beautiful place location is perfect, The lodge has everything that you need they have thought of everything. The lodge is cleaned to a very high standard, hot tub is very appreciated once you have spent a day walking in the caves. Staff are very friendly nothing is to much trouble.
Looking forward to our next trip back to strawberry fields.

Strawberry field is a lovely place to unwind if you need somewhere to relax.
Situated just outside of Cheddar allows you to visit places around.
Lodge was very clean and spacious and the welcome from the staff allowed you to ask questions on places to visit, restaurants etc.
The hot tub outside was a good way to spend a cold clear evening looking at the stars.

A few things that could improve the stay.
Information on how the oven works, more crockery as there is a large size dishwasher but limited crockery.
Signage on the lodges as not clear from the road, so when you first arrive in the dark and delivery of takeaway’s, it’s hard to know which lodge is which.

A very enjoyable visit and we will return.

We arrived at Strawberryfield Park to find a beautiful, well furnished lodge, it really felt like home. We went outside and were overwhelmed by the fantastic outside space. The hot tub was the perfect place to unwind every night, with a glass of wine in hand this was the perfect way to reflect on our busy day.
We have stayed in so many lodges over the years and this one is definitely our favourite. We will be returning, the only issue we will have is deciding which lodge to try next.

Luxurious accommodation and a fantastic location. The hot tub was perfect and what a cracker of a view. Popping over to Weston and a trip to the caves was a breeze.
The Cider Barn is a great place to meet people and get some local info on things to do. The pizza from there was great but the handmade ones from the local Sainsburys were top notch too and the pizza setting on the ovens cooked them perfectly.
I'm a fussy so and so when it comes to beds and bed linen but these were quality and the bed probably the best I've slept in.
Briefly spoke to the owner who invited us to help ourselves to apples from the orchard and he's such a nice chap.
I can't think of a reason on why we wont be returning in the future. Thanks for having us.

This is a beautiful place to stay and have a relaxing get-away or even a mini get together. If you like walking, your in for a treat.

Me and my boyfriend were over the moon with the Spinney. We had booked a few nights away together for a short break and we couldn't have picked a better place. The Spinney was so lovely, the views were amazing, everything was so clean and tidy. It was very romantic which was perfect with the twinkly lights at night and lovely hot tub. There was also something to do in all directions, plenty of pubs and restaurants around as well as sweet little farm shops and cafes. There were attractions in all directions too; cheddar gorge caves and walks, Wookey hole, a few beaches. Overall very happy with our stay, would recommend.

We booked this lodge as a last minute get away and felt so lucky it was still available, because its just gorgeous. The lodge is immaculate and decorated to a high standard, definitely a 5 star!
Its in a quiet location, 5 minutes away from Cheddar Gorge and has some lovely walking routes near by.
The hot tub was the main draw for us, and sitting out on a clear night looking at the stars will be a highlight for us. We will be recommending to everyone and look forward to coming back.

This was my second short break at Strawberry field park, and also in the Spinney. The property was extremely clean and very well fitted out. Staff come to check if all ok following arrival, but are always available at other times should you need them.
Location is very good, easy to find and several good pubs and restaurants in nearby Cheddar and surrounding area.
I shall visit again.

After enjoying 3 previous stays at two bedroom lodges, we booked a one bed lodge for a short December break. The Spinney is more spacious and has top of the range kitchen appliances such as Dualit kettle, toaster and coffee machine. We never mastered the coffee machine as you need to be a scientist! We really appreciated walking in to a real lit Christmas Tree in the lounge. The bedroom and bathroom were also well appointed, and we slept well in the huge bed. We always spend a lot of time in the tub and did so again here, even getting a session in before we left on Friday morning. We are already booked back on the park in June next year and may well book another stayin the The Spinney.

From the moment we arrived at The Spinney in Strawberry Field Park we started to relax. The accommodation was exceptional, really well designed and very welcoming. The cleanliness was immaculate, with thought and consideration given to every detail.
The views from the terrace were lovely and there was so much to do within a few miles, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury and Wells all on the door step.
I would highly recommend Strawberry Field

This was our first stay at Strawberryfield Park and it was amazing!! The contactless check in was brilliant. The lodge was spotless and you had everything you needed, included the little things such as tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of milk - this was very much appreciated. One of our favourite spots was under the star lit canopy, it looked beautiful at night.
With Cheddar less than a 5 minute drive away and Wells a 15 minute drive in the opposite direction we were perfectly located.
The only downside (a small thing really) was the the pub at the top of the road (handy for the odd pint) but unfortunately a few cars came down past the lodge at speed looking for the car park in the adjacent field. Maybe a few more directions from the pub might be needed.
Thank you for such a lovely week, we enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to come back.

We had the best weekend, despite the rain it didn’t stop us doing anything! Lodge was very clean and well equipped and the hot tub was great. We would definitely return!

The Spinney is a great lodge - they have thought of everything to ensure a relaxing and luxury stay. The park is clean, quiet and in a beautiful location. Such a great place to have a break and recharge the batteries!

We absolutely loved our stay at Strawberryfield Park. Our lodge (The Spinney) was immaculate with everything you could possibly need. The bed was huge and super comfy and the shower was heavenly. The fabulous hot tub was the icing on the cake. We felt utterly chilled in the beautiful,peaceful setting. Will definitely be back.

Me and my partner stayed at The Spinney, we booked this for a little get away for my 21st birthday, what an absolutely beautiful lodge and such a gorgeous please to stay, I loved every moment of the stay and didn’t want to leave!, the lodge is equipped with everything you need and was very clean and tidy, I will definitely be returning next year with friends and family.

We absolutely loved our time at The Spinney. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed due to the beautiful furnishings and amenities. The kitchen area had everything you could need and the outdoor decking area with sunken hot tub was just beautiful.
The park itself is in a brilliant location, which is even easily accessible via public transport for non drivers like ourselves. We used Strawberryfield as a base to visit nearby Cheddar and Wells and thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay.
