Five cosy holiday homes here on Duffus Estate; The Cabin, Old Duffus Farmhouse, Barley Bank, The Lodge and Kirktoun Cottage, or opt for our beautiful holiday apartment in the nearby coastal town of Lossiemouth.
Had an amazing weeks stay here.
The cottage is very well equipped and so comfy ( I really wanted to light the fire, but it wasnt cold enough!) The shower needs checking as it a trickle rather than a spray
Lovely walks around the estate, straight from the garden.
The beaches are great, our dogs loved them.
Looking forward to coming back in October
Gorgeous Cabin!
Felt at home straight away.
Very thoughtful owners with breakfast pack(take your tea/coffee and sugar) information on the area and Hopeman Beach
To find the cabin, put in Duffus Castle,it takes you straight to the Cabin,it was easier to find that way rather than Duffus Estate.
Another great stay with the Duffus Estate - this is my fourth stay now having stayed in two of their properties in total. The lodge has a lovely feel to it, very cosy, well maintained and the staff are simply amazing - they’re ‘hands off’ (which I really like) but are always available at the end of the phone if you need somebody. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Barley Bank is a lovely holiday cottage which worked really well for us as a family of four, with Grandad travelling with us. The double and twin rooms upstairs can share the large bathroom there, and Grandad got a bedroom/bathroom to himself on the ground floor with no steps to negotiate. The large dining kitchen, opening on to the fenced garden was perfect for the lovely sunny week we had, there was even a fire pit for the kids to toast marshmallows one night. The cottage was really nicely furnished and had all the things needed for a functional family trip from cooking utensils to a washing...more
We had the most wonderful time staying at the old farmhouse. Our son is at Gordonstoun and we took him out for the weekend and had a lovely time exploring beautiful moray.
The kitchen is very well equipped.
It is lovely and quiet.
We loved the duffus castle.
And obviously the sun shone every day.
First time we have visited Lossiemouth and the Fishermens rest was lovely and central ,just a short walk from the beautiful east beach and places to eat out.
