Loved exploring the Morayshire/ Aberdeenshire coast line and forests with a comfortable cottage waiting.
It had everything we needed, esp. loved the enclosed garden for our nervous dog to sit and enjoy the sun.
Inside the decor was beautiful and everything so well laid out, great attention to detail.
Beds and sofa and really comfortable, Kitchen was a joy to use.
Bathrooms had great showers and nice soft towels.
We didnt want to leave.

We have just spent six nights at Barley Bank and enjoyed our stay. The house is well situated for exploring Moray and further afield. It is set in a peaceful, rural location, the kitchen has everything you would need and we found the sitting room very comfortable. The house has three good sized bedrooms and two generous bath/shower rooms. The house sleeps six so would be a good choice for an extended family coming together.

A comfortable, well appointed cottage. Safe garden for the dog. Ideal for exploring the local area, both inland and on the coast. Sampled many of the cafes and restaurants; especially enjoyed our visit to Logie Steading Visitor Centre. A return visit is on the cards.

We loved our stay at Barley Bank. The house had everything we could possibly want or need - and more! Very short distance to Elgin but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Everything had been very well thought out and planned for ease and comfort. I would have loved to have stayed longer!

We enjoyed a fabulous stay at Barley Bank which we found extremely well presented, comfortable, and very convenient for all we wanted to achieve during our stay. Bringing a TV Fire stick of our own enabled us to view the closing phases of the World Cup in great comfort.

Barley Bank is a lovely holiday cottage which worked really well for us as a family of four, with Grandad travelling with us. The double and twin rooms upstairs can share the large bathroom there, and Grandad got a bedroom/bathroom to himself on the ground floor with no steps to negotiate. The large dining kitchen, opening on to the fenced garden was perfect for the lovely sunny week we had, there was even a fire pit for the kids to toast marshmallows one night. The cottage was really nicely furnished and had all the things needed for a functional family trip from cooking utensils to a washing line and pegs for the laundry. Thank you to the Duffus Estate, we had a lovely stay.
