The cabin is so well equipped - a real home away from home and you could lose hours just taking in the views of Duffus Castle.
Appreciated all the lovely touches including a super welcome pack with their own apple juice from the estate.

Had a fabulous time in the cabin. It is cosy and warm and well equipped. Lots of walks in the surrounding area and beautiful beaches to explore. Even the low flying tornados didn’t spoil our holiday. This is our second stay and it was just as good as the first.

We have stayed at the Cabin a few times now and each visit provides the same high standard of comfort, cleanliness and facilities. It's an ideal location to explore the Moray countryside - or just to relax and watch the clouds pass by the Castle. It's quiet and our dog enjoys the private garden area. Any issues are dealt with quickly by friendly, helpful staff.

This lovely little cabin is very relaxing and has the beautiful backdrop of Duffus Castle.

We had a perfect getaway in, the cabin, beautiful surroundings. The cabin is immaculate, nothing had been compromised on in regards to quality. Crockery, bedding, towels, furnishings, garden furniture. We couldn't have wanted more.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Cabin by the Castle the first weekend in August.
This was a surprise location I had booked for my husbands 50th birthday and it did not disappoint. He is obsessed with castles and this was a perfect spot with awesome views.
Loved that we could safely just open the cabin door and let the dog out in the garden, he approved of this!
Quality and comfort throughout and it felt special.
Even when Storm Floris took a tree down, estate workers were there within the hour to sort it. Also provided a storm pack of candles, matches and lantern in case of a powercut.
Will definitely be back

The Cabin by the Castle is such an ace place to be!
Seeing the castle at various times of day and night was fabulous.
The design and layout of the hut was excellent, couldn’t have asked for more, especially in the kitchen.
The outside covered area was fab to sit out on, even in the rain. The fairy lights made it super special.
We loved swimming from different nearby beaches each day - there is so many to choose from!

The cabin lived up to all expectations. Very comfortable with a wonderful view of Duffus Castle. Very comfortable bed and everything in the cabin was top quality. The basket of local produce was lovely. The garden was very private. There are good walks around the estate, which we did in the evenings. Would definitely recommend it and hope to return some time.

The Eco Cabin is a very liveable space. Particularly enjoyed the huge windows looking out onto Duffus Castle, the decking area with a lovely choice of seating. Appreciated the enclosed garden and adjacent parking too.
Inside the cabin is very well kitted-out and comfortable. Bertie the spaniel enjoyed the enclosed garden and the views from inside during the evening. Lovely variety of bird life in the area too.

A beautiful peaceful place, such a lovely view to wake up to! Couldn’t ask for more on that score.
Welcome basket was a lovely treat after a long drive and late arrival, also not having had chance to visit the supermarket on the way. Only criticism is we arrived desperate to put the kettle on and take a deep breath, however despite there being milk in the fridge (as we had read in a previous review), there wasn’t any t.bags, coffee or anything else similar. So a glass of water sufficed until we shopped in the morning.
Would stay again, but we would be more prepared next time.

We stayed for a relaxing two nights and absolutely loved it. The cabin was done to a high standard, and felt luxurious, with great views of the castle and surrounded by nature. The welcome basket was also a lovely touch. We were blessed with great weather so could enjoy sitting out in the secure garden with the dogs, and by the campfire in the evening. We found it great value for money too given the level of amenities on offer.

What a stunning place. If you want peace and quiet but easy access for things to do look no further. Caroline the owner was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, sat on the veranda looking at the castle having a coffee first thing was bliss. Will recommend to everyone.

Loved our time in the cabin. It was easy to find, plenty of room to park. The outside space was perfect for our dog to run around safely. The view from the cabin was stunning. The walks around the estate were full of nature. Although there were lots of people accessing the castle you never felt over looked or disturbed by them. Would thoroughly recommend if you want a peaceful getaway with all the home comforts

The cabin was far more substantial than we expected, both in the amount of space and in the quality of fixtures and fittings.
The view is a constant, which is stunning, There’s lots of light, and a very positive feel to the cabin.
Several towns with remarkable beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants are in less than 15min drive : Hopeman, Burghead, Lossiemouth.
We’ll be back.
