Positioned on the first floor of the contemporary Zinc apartment building in Newquay, this apartment is the perfect place to make the most of all that Newquay is known for.

Fistral’s famous surfing beach is within a few minutes’ walk, and if the panorama of Newquay’s 18-hole golf course tempts you to play a round, you’re less than half a mile from the club house. The harbour is also an easy stroll away while the South West Coast Path is a mere 4 minutes’ walk from your front door.

Inside you’ll find a lovely open plan living / dining / cooking space with full height glass patio doors opening out to a private balcony. Here you can enjoy breakfast al fresco in the sunshine, or evening drinks as the sun sets over the Atlantic before retiring to one of two gorgeous bedrooms for a comfortable night’s sleep.

22 Zinc comes fully equipped with a range of terrific facilities that include two bathrooms (one of which is en-suite to the master bedroom), entertainment features like a TV in the lounge and both bedrooms as well as a DVD player and Wii console, high spec kitchen, and surfboard store. So if you’re in search of the perfect base from which to enjoy your Newquay holidays whether with family or friends, it doesn’t get much better.

We've stayed in the Zinc building before, this is a lovely little apartment on the first floor (possibly second) with great views over the golf course, and views to Fistral from the balcony. We mostly surf the harbour and fistral, so brilliant location and also good for running around the headland, local restaurants and quick trips too Sainsburys.
We are a small family of three, good space for us, two bathrooms, However, it is in need of some updating, random cooking equipment, tired, stained and not really fit for purpose, I'd recommend taking your favourite frying pan, saucepan etc if you are planning self catering - we usually have breakfast and lunch in the apartment and out for tea, plan accordingly. The only items included are a loo roll per bathroom, tea towel and a couple of dishwasher tabs, we did appreciate the pint of milk, 4 tea bags, sachets of sugar on arrival oh and bin bags, but don't count on anything else.
The apartments was surface clean, but could do with a deep clean. Master bed was super comfy, our 12 year said he could feel the springs in his single bed. The 'dining' chairs need updating. This apartment would have been luxury when built and has great bones, but needs a little love to bring back up to standard, but a good basic option in a fab location. Be prepared for entering fort knox too, codes on codes to enter, leave, gain access to lift and only one set of keys, soo planning required. Saying all that we would return!

We stayed 12 nights at this apartment, check-in process was easy and simple, instructions for check-in was straight forward and Kevin was very responsive to any questions or queries, location was fantastic, opposite golf course and Fistral Beach was about 10 mins walk, Apartment was clean and with all the necessary amenities, Car Parking was good in the basement with a dedicated space.

When we arrived we noticed freezer was full of water, we remove all the water and clean up and started the freezer, it didn't cool up, waited until morning and check again it was not cooling up, reported to Kevin and tried few troubleshooting steps with him before Kevin and myself come to the conclusion there is a fault, Kevin has arrange to get it replaced next day which was very good and very helpful but my point is why I have to go through all this checking and reporting, I was expecting it to be in the working condition when we arrived.

We make this apartment our base and explore the whole Cornwall and we enjoy our stay in this Apartment.

The only issue was at the check out when we were late about 25 minutes in total due to my younger Son with disability was not feeling well in the morning and it delayed little bit.(out of 25 minutes 10 minutes wasted by Cleaner in arguing) in reality we were only late 15 minutes due to health issue with my son who has disability.

When i started loading the stuff in my car for check out, Cleaner was already there waiting and he started talking very rude and telling me you are suppose to be out by 10 am, I try to explain to him the reason and told him we will do our best to be out ASAP, he was just keep arguing, I have never come across any rude person like that, he was not having any understanding our consideration for the situation, he created a scene in the car park and few minutes later came to the apartment and created drama over there, he wasted about 10 minutes because of his rude behaviour and arguments while we were checking out,15 minutes late due to unforeseen circumstances is not an end of world thing, your cleaner was using the words like get out of here, it is absolutely not acceptable and very rude it has kind of ruined our experience and stressed me before setting for a very long drive back home.

Not a very clean property, when we arrived cooker was dirty and they had left dirty cookware from previous clients inside the oven. This i did not touch or use during my stay.
The codes that LC sent did not work!! I specifically asked about this prior to my stay as I had read other reviews saying they had this problem. I was told thst it was all correct and it wasn't.
The location is beautiful, the apartment could be lovely but doesn't seem to be very well maintained.
Parking was great but the door to garage was constantly left open.
All in all ok stat but have been staying in fistral for many years and would not rush back to use this company.

Brilliant location as it’s very close to town and fistral beach . The apartment is on the first floor , everything was clean and tidy in the apartment the only let down I would say is the lack of utensils and cooking items such as pans and cooking utensils. It provided a good base to access the amenities close by but it needs some attention in regards to paint, flooring etc .

Great location, view from balcony over Fistral watching the sunset. Easy access to the beach and town. Apartment was great, key codes to get in, might have been easier with a key fob maybe ? Nonetheless very secure, bonus having an underground parking space. There were 4 of us on our group plenty of space , 2 bathrooms, 1 en suite. Also enough utensils to cook if you wish. Would recommend this apartment. ‍♂️

I had a lovely stay at 22 Zinc. It hadls a wonderful location and is easy to find. Inside it was very spacious and clean, and included a kitchen which was stocked with all the plates and other cooking equipment you could need. The bed was very comfortable- I slept very well. I would recommend to a friend and I would stay again.
