Positioned just off the seafront and within throwing distance of the beach, this contemporary duplex apartment, awash with original artwork and gorgeous furnishings, invites guests to settle into holiday mode from the moment they set foot inside. Three lovely bedrooms and a fabulous open plan living / cooking / dining area mean there's plenty of room for six, so if you're looking for a special place on the Cornish coast where all the family can get together, it doesn't get much better!
There’s no doubt that Beach Vista’s location is its piece de resistance however, and with the harbour being just 200 metres away, and the beaches of Porthmeor and Porthgwidden closer still, this is the perfect place from which to enjoy all that St Ives is famous for. The apartment's furnished front terrace peers out between the cottages right over the bay, and it’s from here that you, cup of coffee or glass of ice-cold fizz in hand, can take in the ever-changing colours of the sky and sea. Upstairs through the picture windows in the master suite, the views are just as spectacular, so if you fancy whiling the hours away with a good book, this is the best spot for it.
A beautiful old pilchard port with its historic fishing quarter and cobbled streets still intact, St Ives has long been a favourite for those in search of a slice of authentic coastal Cornwall, and with some of the county’s best surfing beaches peppering the bay like Gwithian and Porthminster, it’s no wonder water sport and beach lovers flock to this far-west corner of England’s coastline. Of course, the town is also a haven for those looking for artistic inspiration, so unsurprisingly there are numerous independent galleries lining its narrow streets, not least of which being the renowned Tate St Ives overlooking Porthmeor beach. Barbara Hepworth’s sculpture garden is also a must-visit destination when staying here, as are the town’s numerous restaurants, boutiques and beachside cafes.
*Please note that access to the apartment is via a set of steep metal steps so would be unsuitable for those with limited mobility
