Although all lodges are furnished and laid out identically the images are representational as each lodge is positioned differently on site.

Perched on the edge of a lake within the tranquil countryside of the surrounding Exmoor National Park, this gorgeous lodge enjoys beautiful views of the landscaped gardens and surrounding scenery. Featuring a private hot tub and superb wraparound deck, the lodge offers two beautifully appointed en suite bedrooms and a fabulous open plan living space that includes a contemporary lounge / diner and a high spec kitchen.

Home also to the fantastic restaurant at The Coach House, Kentisbury Grange offers guests not only complete relaxation, but luxury and comfort in a beautiful rural setting.

Accommodation was excellent, in beautiful surroundings. Parking a bit tight but at least it was close by. Gas cupboard had nails sticking out so could do with some maintenance. Otherwise a brilliant place, very central to all North Devon. Restaurant excellent

Lodge was in a good location overlooking small pond. Easy to get to surrounding coastal beaches. On arrival the ladies on reception were friendly and welcoming.
The lodge itself although very modern and well laid out, was a little tired in places. The beds and pillows were really comfy, had a great night's sleep.
Hot tub was a welcome addition.
Site itself was peaceful. Best bit was Sunday lunch in the onsite restaurant.Was amazing ! Highly recommend.
All in all we had a lovely weekend and would return

We had a very enjoyable stay, relaxing and good food in the restaurant. Facilities were good for our needs. Only couple of small downside was the music system could do with being a bluetooth connection as we couldn't use as didn't have leads with us to connect to it or own an ipod and the bedside tables looked a bit tired where previous guests had spilt drinks on them so the paint had bobbled.

The lodge was lovely, very clean, comfortable and great facilities. Also deck area was very private and nicely furnished. The only downside was that we had poor weather and the location of the lodge meant that we had to drive quite some distances each day. In good weather it would be a very quiet and relaxing place to stay.

The lodge was very well kept and in a very nice and relaxed area making it the perfect place to escape and chill. Enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub.

The overall place is beautiful, but the lodge and decking isn’t what I would call luxury. The beds were uncomfortable, there’s bad workmanship, some mould in bathroom and on windows in the bedroom and a few chips in the kitchen, so shouldn’t be in the luxury group.

We booked Blackmore Lodge for a long weekend and it exceeded our expectations. The lodge was spacious and modern with everything we needed . A Beautiful peaceful setting - we loved the ducks and birds right by our lodge and the lambs in the next field.
The hot tub was used non stop and the robes and towels provided came in very handy.
It's rare to find somewhere this modern with a hot tub that is pet friendly at a decent price but this place was perfect. A dog bed and treat bags on arrival . The dogs loved it as much as we did.
Not to forget the stunning Sunday dinner we had at the coach house - strongly advise having a meal here if you visit . Food was excellent! Veggie options good ! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful!.
Will definitely be returning .
