Beautiful apartment so clean and well presented. Location spot on for walking coastal walks. Beach a tiny piece of heaven. Need to be fit quiet steep hills. Would definitely recommend. Hope to return soon. Had an amazing couple of days .
We found Gardener's Cottage was perfect for our planned walks along the coast path. The cottage was warm & very comfortable. Plentiful supply of crockery and cutlery and array of sharp knives & good saucepans. Full oven and microwave. Dishwasher. It was great to come back after a long walk to a hot shower- instant hot water. The cottage was very clean with comfortable seating. We slept well even though we are more used to a larger bed.
When we had a problem with the induction hob, Sarah was able to help us right away.
Arrived at The Bullpen with the spectre of additional lockdowns in Wales due to COVID 19 looming on the horizon. What a pleasant experience. The cottage was absolutely spotless with all the unnecessary items removed and all the ones you would ever need or expect to have available and easily accessible. The cottage which is all on one level has been well thought out with access to all rooms easily accessible for both able bodied or visitors using a wheelchair. A minor gripe was the size of the bed. We felt very safe re COVID precautions. Portclew is set in a rural location - quiet, relaxing and off the beaten track. Excellent base for getting around our favourite bits of West Wales.
We've been back many times - we love walking the cliff tops; it's better than therapy. Thanks to Sarah Jackson and her team (and Frank of course) for making it special.
