This large family cottage is situated in a quiet courtyard. It has one super-king double en-suite bedroom, one twin and one quad bedroom. It also has a bathroom on the ground floor.

We stayed at portclew cottages as a large familynof 17 from start to finish it was amazing we had 3 cottages for our group and nit was extremely comfortable and very well maintained. ThanknyountonSarah and Steven for every thing. We will be back

We had a lovely stay in both the Hen House and Dairy at Portclew Cottages when we were visiting our cousins in Pembrokeshire. The Jackson family are super friendly and kind with all our questions! The cottages are very well equipped which was great for all the multi-generational meals we made! My kids loved being so close to the beaches, especially Freshwater East for sand castles and dam building! We will definitely come back! Thank you!

I stayed with my grandchildren, daughter and son in law and there was plenty of room for the children to play.
It is set in a great location with a beautiful beach close by.

The Dairy had everything we needed, including plenty of space, and was a lovely comfortable place to stay. Freshwater East is a great location to base yourself for seeing the Pembrokeshire coast and its beach is beautiful at dawn. The booking process was easy, check in/out uncomplicated, the customer service was great, and the price was really good value.

The Dairy is a well equipped holiday cottage in a great location. It is at the end of a development of holiday homes centred around a B&B - the exterior of all of the buildings and grounds is immaculate. It is close to Pembroke, Tenby, Manorbier and the excellent beaches at Freshwater East and Barafundle.

The kitchen and lounge were spacious and well laid out. The kitchen had all of the appliances you would expect including a large larder fridge, microwave, range oven, washer/dryer and dishwasher.

We were impressed with the colour coded recycling containers to allow the contents to be transferred to the nearby corresponding skips. It made recycling really easy and one less thing to worry about.

We really liked the comfy corner sofa and the addition of another two seater sofa which meant that everyone could sit together - which is not always the case in a holiday home. The TV is showing its age, but that was not a problem for us as we did not use it much.

Outside, tables and chairs are provided to eat in the courtyard when the weather allows. The folding washing line is really useful.

We found the mattress in the main bedroom was too firm for us - but that is maybe personal preference.

Overall, the property is excellent value for money, comfortable and well located for beaches as well as the main shops in Pembroke and the tourist town of Tenby.

We had an excellent week away staying at The Diary. The cottage was wonderful, everything was spotlessly clean and inviting. The location is brilliant, with many beaches only a short drive away. I would definitely return and will be recommending it to others :)

We enjoyed the location and functionality of the Dairy.

It is now a little “dated” in furnishings and fittings.....especially the towels!

A queen size bed would be beneficial

In a year where we didn’t get to see close family members and so many travel plans were cancelled, it was great for our family bubble to ‘staycation’ at The Dairy, Portclew House. Fab location, fab accommodation, beautiful surroundings and friendly owners. Highly recommended, we will be back thanks X
