This wonderful safari tent is situated in rural Norfolk and sits in a meadow with lovely open views. Furnished to a high standard, Muntjac has all the essentials you need for a special glamping break, including electricity for those who don't want to go completely off-grid! Set in three acres of meadow and surrounded by fields and farmland, it is ideal for those who prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal areas but are still looking for wide-open skies and fresh air - although for those that crave a blast of sea air, many of Norfolk’s stunning beaches are only a twenty mile drive away. Fishing lakes, Roarr! Dinosaur Park, Pensthorpe Nature Park, and the lovely market town of Fakenham, are also close by.

Wow! Such an amazing tent! We had a mini stay in October half term, 2 adults and 4 pre-teens! We loved the wood burner and we were lovely and cosy for evening of board games and s’mores! Was so nice to have them all offline!!
We definitely had everything we needed and enough space for everyone.
We spent the days visiting the beautiful beaches of Norfolk.
I would definitely recommend staying in this tent.

A beautiful safari tent with everything you need to camp in luxury. Make sure you pack your woolies as it gets really cold even in June at night. The location was excellent and peaceful, the children had a great time.and the hosts were very accommodating. We've stayed at 2 luxury glamping sites in Norfolk and this one was the best and much cheaper!!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in Muntjac.
Would definitely stay again if fact it’s been discussed already hiring both tents with more friends/family next year. Thank you so much. Highly recommend.

We came as a family with a newborn and 3 year old. It was very clean and comfortable. Having hot water and electricity made it a great place with a young family. Location was great, 30 mins to all the good beaches.

Great place to stay, lovely hosts. Only fault we found was that the fencing doesn't stop small dogs running out of the meadow onto the road. Other than that it was perfect

We had a lovely stay at Muntjac- the owner Robin came to greet us on arrival and a bottle of bubbly had been left in the fridge!
That was such a kind gesture. The safari tent itself was ideal for the five of us and our small poodle. Very clean and well provided for in terms of glasses, plates cutlery and so forth. The tent was large enough for us not to fill cramped and it was lovely to have the option of both indoor and outdoor dining. We were lucky with the weather as we has glorious sunshine. The area was ideal in terms of getting to the coast and we managed to cram a lot in during our 4 night stay. The location & placement of the tent with the sun setting in the evening was glorious.
There are a couple of things to point out. They are in no way a criticism just that I was not aware of prior to booking - there is a rather busy main road just off the field, my husband said it did not bother him but one of my daughters and myself must be more sensitive to noise as we kept tuning into it. Also it is a shame the check in and out times are not a little more generous. Check in was moved to 4pm (advertised as 3) and check out was 10am -advertised at 10.30am. Either way slightly later would have been nice but I appreciate this may be due to covid and extra airing/cleaning time required. Although ample space there are 2 other properties that are holiday homes within the same field. I was unaware of this when booking and on rechecking the web-site still cannot see where this is stated. Would I book again - absolutely yes. Thank you for a wonderful break. Jane Cory
