We loved the glamping experience and enjoyed the peaceful setting at Black Pig Retreats. The safari tent was well equipped to a high standard, with attention paid to detail. The hosts were friendly and helpful.
As a family of 6 it was a little more cramped in terms of the 'kitchen' area for cooking and the fridge space was very small. Additionally, there were only 4 chairs at the table inside, but that wasn't a big deal as we didn't eat inside very often.
As the great British weather was a bit disappointing it was lovely to have the wood burning fire inside in the evening when it turned more chilly. However, as an oven we found it was not very efficient and couldn't get it hot enough to cook anything in.
Overall, it was a great holiday in a beautiful part of the country.
