I was surprisingly impressed with The Cottage. It is nicely decorated and well equipped for a self-catering holiday. Location was close to beaches and tourist attractions, and some lovely walks, ideal for dog walking.

Second stay at The Cottage, third stay on this site. It's lovely. Quiet, country setting, nice little pub down the road. And near enough to Brixham & Paignton.
Clean, tidy a little home from home. Will be staying again, great that you let dogs stay.

The cottage is very well furnished, equipped and maintained. Everything you need in the kitchen. A lovely location to explore the surrounding areas and great walks down to the Quay. For me the only downside was the lack of privacy in the garden.

Lovely accommodation and walks on your doorstep. Pub down the road. We have been coming to Brixham for over 40 years and would definitely recommend this property. We will be back. Katrina Rudge

I normally do reviews but. After a 5 hour drive, we opened the door to The Cottage. We were immediately impressed, the layout, cleanliness, were exemplary. Everything anyone could need in the kitchen. Great living room, bathroom, and comfortable beds. After visiting the area several times, you cant fail to get bored. The location is ideal, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham a short drive, and the dont excellent Dartmouth, a gateway to quieter locations. Our favourite, Torcross, within the beautiful Start Bay. Highly recommended, thank you.

The Cottage is a great place to stay and to explore Torbay. It has Everything you could possibly need, and it offers a real home from home atmosphere. Highly recommend, and as a regular customer and having stayed in many of the other properties the Cottage doesn’t disappoint and is great for a family of four.

First time here, lovely. Nice and quiet, apart from an early morning cock crow, lol, but after a day or 2 you don't really hear it. Lovelt view over the river. The Cottage itself was clean and tidy, with all mod cons. Seating area outside. If you want a base in South Devon for seeing the coast, countryside and all those nice little villages than this is perfect. And dog friendly too

We have stopped at several of the chalets and they are always bright, fresh and clean. Well equipped and always some tea, coffee and milk to start you off. They are in a great location for the busy Torbay area or quieter South Devon. Would definitely recommend
