The Retreat is excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything was in it you needed.
Disappointed that coast holidays didn’t let us know there was still a water problem and that we found out from lots of others on site about going to collect bottled water from Broadsands but didn’t know until late first evening! So Collected tues morning.

Thank you for your kind review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday at The Retreat, I just wanted to confirm that Galmpton and most of Brixham are not in the affected water area. We were put on a precautionary 'boil water notice' whilst they tried to find out the cause of the problem but the water here was never actually affected. There is just a small residential area in higher Brixham that are still on a boil water notice, but I am pleased to say the water here has always been perfectly safe to use. I hope that helps to put your mind at ease.

This is our first visit to the retreat, the bungalow is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
We have been to this location in Devon many times and always enjoy our time here, we will stay at the retreat again.

The Retreat was a comfortable and well prepared chalet for our 4 day stay. It was well laid out and provided all the required facilities. Some minor improvements could be made eg repairing damaged .Venetian binds slats in bedroom. A couple of suggested improvements in the bathroom - fitting a light and electric shaver point over mirror, handrail to aud entry and exit re shower.
Otherwise a very pleasant venue for a holiday

The Retreat is well equipped and modernised to a very good standard. However, we found the bed a bit too soft for our liking.
The site is well maintained and in a quiet location, also a convenient centre for exploring the Torbay area and beyond.

We experienced a few initial hiccups which Katie resolved promptly! Our holiday home was well equipped, very cosy and in an outstanding location, we have been visiting for many years and will continue to do so.

Contact with the owner to book over the phone was excellent, very friendly and informative. E-mails with confirmation and directions were sent very quickly. On arrival the bungalow was found to be in very good condition, with a welcome pack of tea coffee and biscuits. The kitchen was fully equipped and the whole of the atmosphere of the bungalow was of homely comfort.

Lovely quiet park to stay at and very relaxing. Accommodation was very comfortable with home from home touches. However we found the bed to be low and noisy every time you turn over throughout the night. We have booked to stay at the park again in 2023 in a different bungalow.
