The Retreat is well equipped and modernised to a very good standard. However, we found the bed a bit too soft for our liking. The site is well maintained and in a quiet location, also a convenient centre for exploring the Torbay area and beyond.

We experienced a few initial hiccups which Katie resolved promptly! Our holiday home was well equipped, very cosy and in an outstanding location, we have been visiting for many years and will continue to do so.

Contact with the owner to book over the phone was excellent, very friendly and informative. E-mails with confirmation and directions were sent very quickly. On arrival the bungalow was found to be in very good condition, with a welcome pack of tea coffee and biscuits. The kitchen was fully equipped and the whole of the atmosphere of the bungalow was of homely comfort.

Lovely quiet park to stay at and very relaxing. Accommodation was very comfortable with home from home touches. However we found the bed to be low and noisy every time you turn over throughout the night. We have booked to stay at the park again in 2023 in a different bungalow.
