We were a multi generational group celebrating a 75th birthday. The highlight was the swimming pool, our four grandsons had a wonderful time with the numerous pool toys. The adults enjoyed a swim too. Lovely large garden for football (we brought our own portable goal), badminton and boule. The little boys particularly enjoyed having breakfast in the delightful courtyard garden. The house is close to GoApe which they enjoyed as well. My only slight downgrade on comfort was because it was very hot, the duvets were too thick for that level of summer heat. This isn’t unusual in rental properties so my husband and I always take a 1 tog duvet and a top sheet. In fact you could just use the duvet cover in such an instance. The kitchen was equipped with high quality products, Ninja air fryer and knives plus plenty of everything else. The whole family were fascinated with the table top ice maker, very efficient, Karen and Mark should be getting commission as two of the party intend to buy one. The Welcome basket was something else, a great welcome from very supportive (but not intrusive) hosts. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

A peaceful location on the edge of the forest and a few minutes walk from the river. Spacious property ideal for our family gathering. Good sized double bedrooms with excellent ensuites. Well equipped kitchen. Icing on the cake a large and warm swimming pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Pool House. Accommodation was very well appointed the pool hot and the beds very comfortable. Definitely would recommend a stay here. The house was as expected and more.

We stayed for 4 nights at the pool house.
A family break for 6 adults 2 children and 2 dogs.
The house is beautiful and very comfortable, and the kitchen is incredibly well equipped.
The highlight was the swimming pool, my grandchildren LOVED it.
There is a large garden that we didn’t use because of the weather but I’m sure it would be good in the summer.
Apart from the forest there is not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity, but an hours drive away is a fabulous beach at holkham and half an hours drive to Lavenham was a lovely day out

The pool house was outstanding, it had everything we needed . Our age range was 3 - 85 and it had lots to do in and around the house. It is the best house we have stayed in for comfort and location.
