Farlass barn was warm and well equipped for a weeks stay and the beds and duvets were very comfortable. Beautiful views over fields and woods, we were even lucky enough to see and photograph the northern lights.
Would definitely recommend a stay in one of their barns.

This was are 3rd year staying at Barrow Hill Barns. As wonderful as ever! Beautiful views, luxurious family accommodation and friendly customer service. Our young boys love the grounds and family friendly hikes along footpaths neighboring fields of farms, sheep, cows and horses.

It’s a fantastic place to vacation and we’ll be back again soon!

We have stayed a number of times at the Barns and they never disappoint. Great accommodation, views and wildlife.

Lots of places to explore, including national parks, historic houses, glorious gardens, naval history where you can walk, shop, eat, etc.

Great location. Both the cottage and the overall site were tidy and very well kept. It was centrally situated for Winchester, Chichester and the coast, and the good local shops in Petersfield. Parking was excellent. The kitchen in particular was well equipped, for example with a coffee maker. It would benefit from some tumbler glasses, and some sharper knives (they were completely useless). At this price point I would expect a nice welcome pack. Previously we have been left local butter, cheeses, cakes, artisan bread, and wine. Also fresh flowers. This would have made the whole experience feel much more personal and homely. We had a lovely time, and some small additions would have have made it perfect!!

We have stayed numerous times at the barns because they are a lovely, relaxing and comfortable place to be. Wildlife and lovely views on your doorstep.

There is so much to do around, just one example is the number of gardens to visit all unique and different even after just a week. It's not just gardens, there are historic houses, great walks, the coast & beaches, cities to visit, so much for everyone.

The Barns are spacious, comfortable, well equipped and private.. So much to like and enjoy.

Lovely views from the house. Clean and well appointed. We would definitely book again. Slight issue with the plumbing which Rob sorted straightaway.
Lovely walks from the house. 6 or so routes listed in the welcome pack. Would have been useful for them to have been laminated so that they could be used on the walk and returned afterwards.

This was visit number 3 to Farlass (5th to Barrow Hill Barns!). It's just such a lovely tranquil place to unwind and yet not too far off the beaten track. Very comfortable beds, cotton bedlinen, clean,warm, and well equipped accomodation. I've no doubt there will be a 6th visit to Barrow Hill!

This is our third stay at Barrowhill barns and as usual we had a very comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings. The barns are lovely and clean, beds extremely comfortable and kitchen is equipped with everything you need. All thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the dog!

Very minor issue, the main door allows a draft through and small red worms come in too, but got dried out on the warm floor!
The windows leak small drafts too, but we were there during storm Ciaran!!

We stayed with my elderly (mid-90s) parents benefiting from the single floor layout and ensuites to each room. BHB provided a shower chair too which was great. The property is clean and comfortable and very well equipped. We enjoyed sitting out and watching the kites float above us and a hare run across the grass. The layout of the site is well thought out and we were well separated from the other barns.

We stayed for 2 nights with another couple and our 2 dogs. The accomodation was very comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay.
The beds were lovely and each bedroom had an en-suite which was well stocked with good quality products.
Dog walks were available straight from the accomodation and there were lovely villages close by with pubs and cafes.
I would thoroughly recommend this place for a delightful and relaxed break in the countryside.

Our fourth visit to Barrow Hill Barns! Clean, spacious and airy rooms, very comfortable beds with cotton bedlinen, well equipped, quiet and relaxing. Lovely walks from the cottage, and good selection of places to visit further afield. And doggy can come too! She loved the warm dog washing facility after some very muddy walks! We'll be back again. Perfect Place to stay. Very quiet, very comfortable. We used the Barn for a mix of vacation and some remote work. About 1 Hour to London / 10 min to Petersfield (Shops, Tesco, Restaurants, 24/7 McDonalds). Fast working WiFi for remote work. Came 3 times in a row this year and will definetely come again. Great base to explore the area, we visited 3 NT places in the 4 days we were there. It was quite cold outside but lovely and warm inside without being to stuffy. As we were out most of the day we did not use the outside facilities it was Nov/Dec. Only very minor change I would make would be to have a PIR detector on the outside light as when it gets dark its very dark and did not want to leave the outside light on all day.
We had a great 4 days staying at Farless and although there were only 2 of us 4 people would have plenty of space.

We had a most enjoyable stay at Barrow Hill Barns. There's is something really quite special about this place.

Farlass barn had everything you needed for a weekend break. The accommodation was beautifully decorated with stylish home furnishings, beautiful bathrooms, and bedrooms with the most comfortable beds. The highlight though is the beautiful breathtaking views from the lounge and the bedrooms that span over the stunning farm. We can't wait for our next stay.

Cottage was superb, warm, very clean, great showers, comfortable beds, felt new and all very comfortable.
Gardens are not enclosed but this isn’t a problem for us as our older dogs are not escape artists. Nice walks straight from the door. Quiet location and 10 mins to petersfield with shops cafes etc. We very much enjoyed our stay.

After a great first stay in Redgates as a couple, we brought relatives to stay in Farlass. Both barns were spotless, very well designed with high quality furnishings and bed linens. Our double bed was enormous and very comfortable and the power showers in both en-suites were hot and strong. With the very quiet rural location, the well spaced barns and superb views this is a wonderful place for a break. We will definitely be back. Well done Rob and your team!

As always excellent accommodation. We have stayed many times before mostly out of season. Noisy kids and uncontrolled dog next door spoilt our time on site as our dog not happy with theirs being on our patio. An enclosed off lead area would resolve this problem with dogs having to be on leads elsewhere. We’re dog friendly but people with small children might not be.

We loved our stay at Farlass. It was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable (the beds were amazing!). We enjoyed the patio area and the gorgeous views. We also appreciated all the extra touches, including the biscuits on arrival and the excellent coffee machine. Rob was really helpful when we had problems with the Wifi. Our barn, like the others, was spacious and fitted out to a very high spec with every thing we needed.

Booking was easy and good comms throughout.

Plenty of outdoor space, open to all guests and great for dogs and children. Lovely rural views in a peaceful hamlet, with nice walks on the doorstep.

Super pubs in nearby villages. Excellent shopping and dining in nearby Petersfield.

This was our second visit, with three generations of family, and our dog - we look forward to returning next year.

Highly recommended.

Beautiful comfortable holiday home, very well equipped and cosy yet spacious. Homely touches but not cluttered. These holiday homes have been very well thought out. Barrow Hill Barns is such a peaceful location yet not too far from amenities. Lovely walks with our little dog without having to get in the car and drive somewhere first. The beds are superb, we slept really well. The walk in shower is great too for anyone with mobility issues. This was our 3rd visit to BHB, our first to Farlass. We will return!!

Just spent a week in 2 bedroom ‘Farlass’ with partner and 3 year old, plus other family members staying in other cottages - we had a wonderful time. The cottage had everything we needed, incredibly comfortable beds, lots of space, lovely showers/bathroom, very well stocked kitchen (even meant we could make an impromptu cake!). Views were stunning to wake up to and watch sunset over. So quiet at night. Owners were really helpful and responsive. Would recommend to everyone!

We found the site very easily following the directions given by the owners. The accommodation was excellent, plenty of room, and spotless. Great views from the cottage. The site was very quite, even though the other properties were occupied. There was plenty of parking space next to our cottage. The underfloor heating took a bit of getting used to, especially when it turned very cold towards the end of our stay. The lanes around the property were quite good, with easy access to the A272 and the A3.

We hired 5 cottages in total. Arriving at the barns we were blown away at home beautiful they looked. All the cottages are in short walking distance from each other and perfect for a large group booking. The cottages were modern with that traditional charm. Fully stocked with everything we needed. They were clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of the local area! Thank your for a lovely stay!

'Farlass' is superbly designed and furnished. It is beautifully light and airy, immaculately clean and has outstanding views.

We appreciated all the attention to detail, especially the kind provision of a special shower seat for my 95-year old mother.

We will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay. Farlass was a comfortable and modern bungalow. Well equipped for self catering.
We felt the sofas could have been cleaned as my husband is allergic to dog hairs and he suffered allergic symptoms during our stay.
The host provided a quick and helpful response to any of our queries. We had dinner at the suggested Shoe Inn at Exton, and it was lovely. Thank you!

We loved the location, the service and facilities at Farlass. Rob and his team were always on hand for anything we needed to make our stay enjoyable so cannot fault them for their high levels of service. Views were fantastic as was the serenity.

I do feel that it is slightly over priced as we could have had a holiday in France, Spain or Portugal including flights for similar money. Covid prevented travel and I do feel that many UK accommodations have exploited that which is a real shame as in the future I will think twice about staying in the UK once we can travel again post Covid.

We loved our stay at Farlass - a lovely barn with amazing views. set on a spacious and peaceful site. Very well equipped with quality furnishings and bedding etc. and very spacious and comfortable and beautifully clean and feeling Covid-safe. It was so lovely to sit out on the patio and look out over the beautiful unspoilt countryside and amazing sunsets - so peaceful and feeling in the middle of nowhere, yet within a couple of miles of some excellent pubs and eateries. We thoroughly enjoyed the walks over the fields recommended by Rob - and also a Tour and Tasting at Hambledon vineyard, going by taxi this time though. Rob was very helpful from start to finish with prompt replies to any queries we had. Loved our stay and would definitely plan on returning for a peaceful escape to the countryside. The barn was extremely well appointed, and the bed and linen were very comfortable. The walk in wet-room style shower was great too. Beautifully quiet setting with great views across the countryside. There were plenty of hiking trails a short drive away.

However - one little niggle - for a 5* establishment we felt there were a few small things that were missing that we would normally expect to find in a property of this quality, for example, a shaving mirror, towelling dressing gowns, and above all a dressing table!!! I had nowhere to plug in my hair styler, and no mirror for drying my hair.

There is obvs a mirror in the bathroom (no plug for hairdryers) and a long mirror in the bedroom (no plug nearby). Managed to cope by putting the free-standing mirror on the windowsill but standing to do my hair and make up. I know, it's a woman thing, but dressing tables never seem to be high on any holiday properties' lists.

These little things did not spoil our holiday and the host very kindly found me some proper steak knives especially for me for our stay - nice touch!

We stayed in Farlass for a 6 day break. It wasn`t long enough! The accommodation is first class and better than anywhere we have stayed.The owners have thought of everything.My elderly 88 year old mother managed with ease in the walk in shower and got around the property easily with her walking frame .Everything was perfect and spotlessly clean. The luxurious and very comfortable beds made sure we had a good nights sleep.Patio area outside lovely with wonderful scenery.It is in a great and peaceful location and we shall certainly return asap.Don`t take our word for it. Book it now, you won`t regret it!

We had such a nice time at Farlass, it’s very clean, peaceful and relaxing. The host has thought of everything, including a hose with warm water to clean your dog’s paws! We would love to come back.

Excellent accommodation with the amenities of Petersfield only a short drive away. Lovely countryside and enjoyable walks from the development. Had a lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

My family had a great stay at Barrow Hill Barns over the Easter Holidays. The location is stunning, with amazing views and wonder walks right from your doorstep. The cottage itself was very clean and well equipped and was the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful countryside and even a day trip to the coast.

We couldn't be in a better place, given our circumstances of not being able to live in our own home at present. We have enjoyed our 12 week stay here with plenty of space for us. The views are marvellous and it is a very restful environment. Everything is provided and any housekeeping issues addressed immediately.

An absolutely outstanding property. The area was wonderful with lots to do for the whole family. The property is a new build with bifolding doors that open up to the enormous garden area. However it has the feel and charm of an old barn with beautiful beams and high ceilings. The owners of Barrow Hill Barns should be proud!

We had a lovely weekend staying at Barrow Hill Barns. The cottage we stayed in was beautifully done, very clean and had everything you would need for a weekend away! To have your own bbq and patio area too is a massive plus! Rob and the team we’re extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

We took refuge here over a wet windy half term and absolutely loved it. Would love to come back in the summer.
