Thanks so much to Rob for a fantastic stay at the Farmyard (32). We were a family of 22 who came together for 3 nights for a big event. The customer service and venue could not have been better. Highly recommend.
We have stayed at Barrow Hill Barns before but this was the first time at Valley Barn. A gorgeous property in a wonderful location. It had everything we could ask for and the garden was perfect for the whole family to relax after a day out. Stunning walks nearby plus amazing restaurants & pubs. We couldn't ask for more and will definitely be back.
We were looking for a quiet, relaxing break that allowed us to visit the New Forest & boy did this deliver. The location was so peaceful and less than an hour from the New Forest. The treehouse was a wonderful base to enjoy our breakfasts while watching deer & rabbits. We even had dinner at the treehouse on one night, we couldn't get enough of it!
I think this is the right time I have stayed at Wheatricks now and it is as always a fantastic quiet stay. Clean and well kept. Rob as ever very quick to respond to any queries. I would definitely recommend and will be staying again if available.
Rob was really helpful in the lead up to our trip and also accommodated an early check in for us. The barn is lovely for a long weekend, particularly if you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and views. The kitchen, although small was well equipped with basics like salt, olive oil etc sorted and we cooked in a couple of nights. It was warm weather so we ended up using the bath as a cold plunge instead! Cute bath. We stayed for two nights and can honestly say the accommodation was “top top” It was faultless-clean,well equipped and heavenly location
My daughter and I spent two nights here with her King Charles Spaniel. It is a very nice barn conversion in a lovely setting. The dog loved the walks in the fields attached to the properties, and we were able to reach the Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle for day trips.

A superb property in a great location, ideally situated to visit numerous places of interest. Lovely local walks on the doorstep. With the recent hot weather, the air conditioning is an absolute bonus. Also as an EV driver, the EV charging on site is sheer convenience.
Fabulous cottage, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The views across the fields were amazing and we loved relaxing outside. Such a quiet and peaceful location. Our second stay on this complex and we enjoyed both stays very much.
We came to find transquility and and base to explore the wider region and that's exactely what we found. The barn bungalow was well equiped and the view and area very peaceful. Do explore the property at dusk for a chance to see some wildlife!
We stayed at the hottest time of the year and were very grateful for the air-conditioning! We enjoyed sitting out in the private garden under the parallel. You had thought of everything and we were very comfortable. It was nice to be able to park right outside the door to bring things in. Next time we’d like to do some of the walks, it’s so beautiful round there. Thank you.
We enjoyed a super relaxing 4 night stay at The Hide. Enjoyed exploring the local area (Winchester, Portsmouth historic dock, Lymington & Buckler’s Hard). Morning bathing as the sun rose & evenings lounging on the decking watching wildlife in the field below were highlights. Binoculars even provided! Would definitely return to this beautiful, private property. Thank you!
