My boyfriend and I stayed at longhorn lodge for his birthday and it was lovely, I very much needed getaway from London. The hosts were lovely, gave us recommendations on a local butchers and there were lots of walking recommendations in the lodge which all seemed lovely, we chose one with a pub halfway and thoroughly enjoyed it. The actual lodge was lovely and cozy with plenty of space and the bath outside was a great bonus feature. Would definitely stay again!

The location of the Pod is amazing. Looking over the countryside. Lucky enough to see some deer grazing. The Pod itself has everything you need. Very clean and very cute, comfortable and warm. We even tried the bath. Only thing I'd suggest is a normal electric kettle so I don't wake the wife, making a morning coffee with the whistling one.

My partner and I spent a couple of lovely relaxing days at Barrow Hill Barns in Longhorn. The entry instructions were simple and effective and the pod was exactly as pictured. A lovely space with an amazing view over a small valley. We couldn’t see a single man-made thing when looking out from the deck. Perfect!
We used one of the suggested places to eat (The Pub with No Name) on the first evening and it was lovely. A cosy, historical pub with amazing food. Day two we visited local farm shops and relaxed in the pod. Perfect t relaxing time away,
My only slight issue would be the tea and coffee were not as you’d hope, but outside of that, it was an amazing stay in an amazing location. A real treat!

I booked this trip for my partner and I as a birthday present. We were blown away by the views and it is hands down the comfiest place we have stayed! Would recommend to anyone. Couldn’t beat having a warm bath outside and barbecuing dinner each night with the one provided! Many lovely nature walks nearby. Will definitely book this beautiful stay again

The view was absolutely stunning and the location is so private! You feel like you're in your own little bubble. The pod was very warm during the day, but a fan was provided and you can keep the doors open as it's completely private. A lovely couple getaway.

If it’s a location you want to come & be with nature; this is it. No humans just nature & seclusion.
The cabin was ample spacious & had everything you need. The wooden interior gave it a lovely earthy feel.
The views from the decking are amazing, where we enjoyed drinks whilst watching wild deer from afar with the supplied binoculars.
Our host Rob was only too happy to help.
We done the local 4 mile loop walk which was pleasant to the neighbouring village.
Petersfield town was a 10/15 drive away.
Perfect place to come & unwind. 5*

I booked the Longhorn for my husband’s birthday and we were not disappointed. Finding it was a little tricky as the light was fading when we arrived and the sign was quite small so we drove straight passed it so we needed to stop to get our bearings.
Longhorn itself was everything that we wanted, the scenery was definitely the main attraction for us. We sat out on the decking of an evening and watched as the wild life entertained us. We saw a barn owl, deer, a badger, rabbits and pheasants.
We used the walk guide that Rob had provided and we chose the Butser Hill route that took us a couple of hours and the views were amazing. We had lunch in the Ye olde George Inn and would definitely recommend it especially the fish and chips.
I was determined to use the bath, even though the weather wasn’t too warm and I’m glad I did, it helped to soothe my muscles, after our long walk.
Overall we would definitely recommend the Longhorn for a peaceful getaway that helps you unwind from our busy lives!

Absolute heaven, Peaceful, clean, stunning views, attention to detail is amazing. The cabin is warm and comfortable, bed and pillows included. There are 2 other cabins behind but you can not see them and they can not see you, once you are round the front. We live locally and will absolutely be coming back for another stay soon, highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay as part of our "mini-moon". The host's arrival instructions were very clear, and communication before our arrival was good. We were greeted by a stunning view, spotlessly clean pod and chocolate biscuits to have with our tea and coffee. The lay-out of the pod was perfect, the views are as in the photos and there was everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The bath was very relaxing and bubble bath for our use was a thoughtful touch. We really couldn't have asked for more. We would say though, if you have a big car, we found it easier to back into the entrance gate and turn around once in.

My partner and I needed a few days away from London and Barrow Hill Barns was the perfect choice! The cabin we stayed in, Longhorn, is nestled amongst pristine countryside and provided us with the most amazing views waking up every morning. Longhorn itself was perfectly clean, extremely comfortable and perfect for a couple looking for some time away (the outdoor bath tub is a great touch!). Our host Rob was extremely helpful and responsive, the information provided in the guest book was also much appreciated, especially when it came to hike recommendations around the local area (we would highly recommend the short hike to East Meon and lunch at the Olde George Inn). 10/10, would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for 2 nights for my partners birthday, I have always been apprehensive paying this much for a lodge but it was 100% worth it and would spend more. The cabin had everything you need to switch off from the outside world. Incredible hosts, allowed late check out when asked as they had no direct booking after! Couldn’t recommend enough, will 100% be back in the future x

We just had the best time, it was just what we wanted, time to relax chill in our own space, with great views, and delightful unique accommodation.
I loved all the extra touches they left us, from milk and biscuits, to just have salt and pepper, washing up liquid and sponges, all things I didn’t expect them to have in self catering. Super comfy, everything about our stay was just what we needed. Highly recommend.

Everything is perfect! It’s in the details. Bubble bath ready for the outside bath ( hope for a clear night so you can soak under the stars) beautiful cotton sheets, milk and tea, toiletries and comfort. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue. We booked all 8 barns and the 3 pods to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. We had an amazing time. The barns are very upmarket and luxurious with no expense spared. Rob even left milk, apple juice etc in the fridges so unlike other self catering venues we had plenty supplies. The quality, finish and decor of the barns was beautiful and very spacious. The beds were extremely comfortable. Rob has been a pleasure to deal with and really helpful. The pods are quirky and stunning and the barns are very luxurious. We will recommend this venue to all our friends as it feels like the barns are brand new and the setting is amazing as we saw hares, rabbits and deer in the fields. The stunning views add to the experience and quite a few of us got up to see the sunrise. Thank you again Rob we will no doubt return in the future. We wish you the very best as you deserve to do really well.
