Fantastic barn, with all we need for a short break . Beautiful location. It got very cold at night and we couldn’t figure out how to turn the underfloor heating up!! I am sure when we go next year someone will guide us through. This is a very small issue which did not impact on our stay. Weather is unpredictable.
I recommend this barn or any others on the property any time of year.

This is our second visit and it was just as good as our first. Different cottage but same high standards in every respect. So much to do in the Local area and the weather was perfect. Dogs loved every minute and loads of places to walk.
Would definitely go again.

The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed. The enclosed outside space for the dogs was excellent and the large areas of land to roam with them were beautiful and peaceful. The showers are fantastic and the luxury of all en-suite accommodation was great. Beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well indeed. Kitchen had all the essentials. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

We stayed in Pump Meadow - and it exceeded our expectations as our first stay in a dog friendly accommodation. The barn lacked nothing, it was in a beautiful location, we found plenty to do. Would recommend Skye Park for breakfast and a well stocked farm shop and QE country park.

Went with some friends for a weekend away. Location perfect with great views. Nice to have a garden fenched, to allow dogs outside, shame the weather was rubbish not to use the BBQ and the lovely garden furniture!
Beds very comfortable and high spec bedding. Amazing showers, great water pressure!
My only negative comment, would be the kitchen could have more saucepans and other utensils. We always like to cook a roast whilst away, we struggled with pans etc!!!!

We had a fabulous relaxing long weekend. Pump Meadow is perfect for 6 adults with 2 dogs. Modern, fully equipped barn, with everything you would want.
Lovely walks directly from the barn to beautiful villages and country pubs.
We had lovely weather and feel that the only things that could have improved our stay would have been an umbrella for the outside table some sun beds.

Beautiful location in an AONB. This barn has everything we need for our short break. Very well equipped indoors, with up to date equipment. Comfortable, clean and airy.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Barrow Hill Barns (Pump Meadow property) over the Easter break.
House is beautiful, modern, very comfortable and clean. Every room has its own en-suite and they are very spacious. Kitchen/dining area/living room, are all spacious and well equipped. Also has a laundry room if required. We had our small dog with us and there is an enclosed garden which was perfect. Outdoor furniture allowed us to relax outside also and enjoy the sunshine and lovely views. We enjoyed walks in the local area (it is remote) and we drove the few miles to local pubs for tea. It was just the break we needed and we would definitely visit again.

This was our third visit to the barns. From booking to pre arrival instructions, the communication was excellent. The barn didn’t disappoint with good quality furniture and fittings, excellent bathrooms and great views. Be prepared to have a bit of a walk or drive to get to local amenities but it is worth it. We are already planning visit number 4!!

We had a lovely break at Pump Meadow, Barrow Hill Barns. The views are spectacular and the enclosed garden is great if you have small children and/or dogs. Kitchen is very well equipped. Bedrooms are spacious with super comfy beds. Each room has individually heated floors which are easy to adjust. We would definitely return.

Already booked for next year. Excellent very well appointed cottage in a beautiful location. Plenty of countryside walks available, which our dogs enjoyed, with a choice of three bar/restaurants within walkable distance if you want to leave the car behind. Nearest shops are in Petersfield which is under a ten minute drive away. Thoroughly recommend Barrow Hill Barns if you are looking for a first class countryside break.

Our first time staying at The Pump Meadow and it was brilliant for our surprise birthday celebrations.
The bedrooms were very spacious with excellent bed linen, each with an ensuite were ideal for our family set up and being dog friendly with a fenced garden was great for our two golden retrievers.
Also, ideally located for one of our daughter to join us for the week as she travelled by train from London Waterloo to Petersfield station, only a few minutes drive away. The barn is perfectly situated in the midst of peaceful countryside and the views are stunning.
So many thoughtful touches. We will definitely be coming back.

Perfect place and position for our group. Loved the Hampshire mud, some of us had brought wellies! A must at that time of year . Lovely walks from the Barns, even in the wild weather of Storm Ciaran. Selkie loved the Doggie shower as did the humans , excellent addition. Many thanks for a lovely stay

Gorgeous. Found it hard to leave. We had a 3night stay in Pump Meadow Barn. Comfortable, warm and roomy accommodation with private grassed courtyard looking across to rolling hills. Set in stunning surrounding scenery and so quiet. Rob communicated well to our needs before arrival, easy self check in. Large comfy beds, ensuite for all 3 bedrooms. Kitchen & loungeroom well equipped. If you love walks in the countryside, this has it all right on your doorstop. Hope to come back sooner rather than later!

As a family of six adults we enjoyed a near perfect week in this comfortable and relaxing setting, enhanced by glorious September weather. Plenty of local walks in the beautiful Hampshire countryside and there would have been easy access to many other things to see and do if the weather had been poor. We first stayed in Pump Meadow when it initially opened and found accomodation and location perfect in every way.Rob was extremely helpful and polite and always welcoming.Since then we have stayed at several of the properties to the same high standard and most recently returning to Pump Meadow.Ideal for dogs-we took 2,as it has its own enclosure behind so dogs can run free(and children!).We cant wait to return probably autumn time.

We booked Pump Meadow and Orchard (2x3 bed barns) for a family reunion with my brother over from New Zealand. The barns are really well equipped and clean. The location is perfect for walks as the area has lots of ancient byways as well as standard footpaths across fields and some quiet lanes. Each barn has a folder with c8 walks varying 1.5 - 13 miles that you can do from the property. The Pump Meadow garden is like an enclosed paddock so the dog could wander in and out safely. There is also a huge open space behind the barns that is ideal for ball throwing. Petersfield is nearby for shopping (all the regular supermarkets) plus a superb butcher in Lavant Street if you are planning a BBQ (these are all kept clean and you just collect one from outside reception). Lots of attractions nearby and pubs with local beers on offer.

We will be back.

The barn was very well equiped, spacious and comfortable - great countryside views and lovely outside seating areas. BBQ was clean and available for use. Having a special "dog wash" area is also very thoughtful.
Plenty of parking space and easy access to the A3.
All in all, great for a weekend/long weekend break.

My husband and I took our parents here for 3 nights. We needed an accessible place that also allowed dogs. Barrow Hill Barns was perfect. The lodging was spectacular. Very nicely designed and extremely comfortable. The views were beautiful. It was just the relaxing stay that we all needed.

We would definitely return.

We stayed in pump meadow both on the way down and back from our trip to Cornwall. It was lovely and clean and luxurious. We had a lovely time in the garden, the views are amazing. Local pubs had really nice food also. We had a slight issue with the hit water but I was responded to straight away and it was resolved within minutes. We will be back!

Barrow Hill Barns are a beautiful set of barns for small groups of family or friends to get together for a weekend of walking and good company.

Perfect for those with dogs, not least due to the warm water dog shower on the way in.

Location is beautiful, and the walks the owners provided were fantastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pump Meadow, Barrow Hill Barns. The accommodation was excellent and suited our requirements to a tee, in particular the spacious downstairs bedroom with own bathroom which was ideal for mum who has mobility issues and the large kitchen/diner for setting up her jigsaw on a rainy day whilst we ascended Butser Hill with the pooch. The views were wonderful and there are plenty of walks on the doorstep of differing lengths, many of which are included in the guest manual with directions and maps. Barn is very dog friendly with newly enclosed garden and the addition of a warm water dog wash station inspired - although our dog ran away at the sight of the hose! We only wish we could have stayed longer.

An excellent holiday location, visited twice in 2022. Extremely comfortable and very welcoming of dogs, with facilities for them too like a dog shower. EV point available, accommodation all of a high standard and spacious.

Countryside is excellent, with a wide variety of walks, great pubs, villages, towns and cities and all just an hour outside London.

A beautiful property with excellent fittings, furniture and super comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped with good quality glassware and tableware and it was nice that the 'basics' (tea bags, milk etc etc )were left for us. A nice outdoor patio with comfortable table and chairs for good weather. The location was peaceful yet within easy reach of the coast/places of interest. Booking was easy and Rob was on hand if there were any problems.
A lot of thought has gone into these holiday properties and the quality is way above many holiday cottages we have stayed in previously.

Everything about this cottage was stunning including the grounds. The patio furniture was set up so it was very private which we loved. The bedrooms and ensuites were really big especially the master suite upstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back but for longer next time.

It was such a beautiful property and also very well maintained. Bed linens and towels of high quality. The kitchen was fully equipped although we did not need it as attending a wedding throughout our stay. We love walking and will be back to explore the area further. We stayed as a group of 6 to celebrate a birthday. The barn is really well appointed. We appreciated having an en-suite bathrooms and the beds were so comfortable. Very clean and great communication with the host who let us know we could stay later. The location is beautiful and we really liked how it still felt private even though there were other people around. Lots of good walks straight from the barns. We'll be back!

Great 2 day stay getting ready for my daughters' wedding at nearby Tithe Barn in May 2022.The facilities were excellent and the surrounding countryside lovely. It was exactly the sort of relaxing place needed to prepare for the wedding and on the wedding day itself, the hair and make up ladies had no trouble parking and all remarked on what a lovely place Pump Meadow was.

Pump Meadow is a beautifully appointed property on a well-maintained and quiet site of a few similar barns. Everything was clean and everything worked which is not always the case - coffee maker, an Alexa, under floor heating in every room, roomy showers. We even found a slow cooker in the kitchen cupboards. Well stocked kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, cleaning equipment etc. Really comfy super king beds. Everything had been thought of, we really couldn’t fault it. Thankyou!

The perfect accommodation for a family get together. Accommodation very clean and had everything we needed. Very good attention to detail - such as plug sockets near the mirror so that it is easy to use the hair dryer. Having an en suite with each bedroom is perfect
The accommodation is in a beautiful setting, with lovely views and walks on the doorstep. Ted, our dog, was made to feel very welcome
There are also several restaurants in nearby Petersfield that do takeaway if you would rather eat indoors
A very chilled weekend with the family and would thoroughly recommend

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at Barrow Hill Barns. Great walks, wildlife and pubs all in easy reach. The barn was beautiful and was like home from home. We will definitely be back.

The accommodation is perfect for me as a wheelchair user. It’s spacious and uncluttered with tiled floors. The bathrooms are easily managed. Everything is of a high standard.
Rob is very communicative and responsive to requests.
The view out the back was lovely.
Absolutely brilliant few days.

We had a late check in as travelling from Scotland which Rob and his team catered for very well.
Attention to detail was great and we felt very comfortable in and around the house. Would definitely have stayed longer if we had the time!

Fully equipped and spacious accommodation for six people. The property is in pristine condition and, together with neighbouring units, nicely situated on the site with fine views over the countryside at the rear.

We really enjoyed our brief stay (2 nights) and would definitely come back to Barrow Hill Barns in future.

Top drawer self-catered accommodation at it's best from Rob and the team at Barrow Hill Barns. Large spacious rooms, all the utensils, humungous garden with a well kept lawn, we struggled to fault our stay. Keep up the high standards you're doing a great job Rob!

Prior to us arriving at Pump Meadows The property owner was very prompt in answering any queries/ requests we had to insure we had a comfortable stay at Pump Meadows. The house was in immaculate condition and with everything you could need for a weekend getaway. We also made friends with the neighbors who have us a warm and friendly welcome.

All round we had an amazing weekend and We can’t wait to return!!!.

We stayed at Pump Meadow and Holstocks for our daughters wedding nearby. This is a lovely and sensitively designed set of barn-like accommodations with each unit well supplied with the things you would need for a short stay. The furnishings were perfect for the setting and everything was spotlessly clean and well presented, nice garden furniture too and some private space with each property. The location with far reaching views and lots of additional public areas are also a plus. They also provide a list of local walks which is a nice touch - needless to say we didn't have time to enjoy them though! We all loved our time there and everyone said they would recommend it unreservedly.

The Barn provided a comfortable & high quality retreat in beautiful countryside . It was well equipped with excellent kitchen & bathrooms. There is a table & chairs on the terrace and the barns are set on a spacious field. A highlight was the range of enjoyable walks from the front door and there are many possible outings within a short drive. We used a supermarket online delivery as the nearest shops are a few miles away. The area has a range of good pubs for eating out. We particularly liked the Olde George in nearby East Meon but this is a drive from the barns. We enjoyed an excellent holiday and hope to return soon.

I returned with two different guests for a second stay at one of these gorgeous cottages - this time Pump Meadow. We loved everything about the cottage, which is particularly private on the far corner of the property. Clean, comfortable and cosy. Some great walks from the cottage and a fab pub Ye Olde George at the end of one of them. Will be back again thank you!

This was the first time that we had stayed at Barrow Hill Barns and we were not disappointed.
The location is fantastic, Pump Meadow is stunning and we have loved spending time kite flying on the field in front of the property.
There are fantastic restaurants nearby and our favourite is The Earl of March on the edge of Goodwood.
Rob runs these properties with great care and attention and we cannot wait to stay here again soon.

We just spent a wonderful couple of months here between houses and it really was a home away from home.

The house is beautifully designed and really well equipped. The location is stunning and surroundings beautiful.

We would highly recommend staying here to any families or groups looking for a tranquil but low fuss stay. Rob and his family are brilliant hosts and offer a really service.

Had a great week staying at Barrow Hill Barns, with our dog. Super comfy beds, huge bathrooms for every bedroom and a large garden for the dog to explore. Lots of great walks from the property and located in peaceful countryside.

This was our second stay at Pump Meadow this year. Beautifully clean accommodation, spacious layout and plenty of unoverlooked space to relax and enjoy privacy in a superb location. Quiet at all times, except for the occasional sounds of wildlife and the views of the South Downs are stunning. All facilities inside the cottage had been well thought out and the little extra provisions such as washing and dishwasher tablets made the stay even more enjoyable.
I'm sure we'll be back again.

All the Barns at Barrow Hill are built, and fitted out to an EXTREMELY high standard. Furniture, bathrooms & kitchens that you'd be very happy to have in your own house, combined with stunning views over a corn field.
For walks around the South Downs , Queen Elizabeth Country Park & Butser Hill only 10 mins walk away. Fantastic base for hiking/cycling and only 10 mins drive to Petersfield.
