Woodcroft is a charming cottage located in wonderfully leafy surroundings right in the heart of Douglas, just a few minutes walk from the Isle of Man TT Grandstand.

Property in secluded estate set back from main road. No traffic noise at all. Excellent facilities and standard of tasteful furnishings
Not suitable for those with mobility issues as bedrooms up wooden stairs and no lift
One star removed as although the bathroom upstairs has a bath there was no shower attachment.
The larger bedroom has quite low beams which could be a problem for those of 6 ft
There was also no coffee machine/ cafetière as promised but there was milk white bread and cheese on arrival which was handy.
Will certainly consider returning here on our next visit to the island.

Stopped here for business for a few days. 20 minute walk to town. Quiet, comfortable, good WiFi and had all I needed.

Thank you for having us. We enjoyed our stay in your quiet, cosy, warm and conducive to sleep accommodation. Our aunt from USA had a wonderful experience and will soon come back.
Apart from the faint smell of paint when I walked in the first night to get the keys, it's like home away from home. We do like it there.
I recommend this place highly of course. It's very secure and convenient. The instructions and customer service was ace. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bus stops are just across the road, so convenient you can also enjoy your walk towards the high street or park. Everything is written in the welcome pack. Woodcroft is fully equipped. All you need is food to cook and drinks /snacks to enjoy. Thank you for the complimentaries, much appreciated.

Woodcroft is a lovely homely cottage. The beds were really comfortable and we slept well It was well equipped apart from we could have done with some more hand towels. Woodcroft is set in quiet grounds and is in a central location to explore the island. The welcome pack was a nice touch. We would definitely come back.

Stayed at woodcroft for nearly 2 weeks.
Excellent location for TT grandstand, Douglas promenade & shopping centre.
The cottage was clean, comfortable, set in a nice location & had good Wi-Fi.
Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location. Quiet and secure with good parking. About a mile walk from centre. Property starting to be a little jaded. Nothing major but needs some work. EG outdoor space badly needs weeding and sweeping, internet access poor and cuts in and out, some of plaster on walls needs rubbing down and repainting as it's bubbling, appears property often empty as it has that damp smell.

Dealing with island escapes was very professional and friendly and cheaper than other sites, accommodation was perfect in its state and position for getting around places. Big bonus was parking place as parking in Douglas is very congested, Would come here again if we return to the island

Lovely cottage in a quite location but in the middle of Douglas ideal for the Grandstand and Nobles Park. Private rear garden which was a sun trap during the lovely weather for practice week of the TT. Walk into Douglas approx 15 mins and downhill.
Shower was very small and downstairs off the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom which again the bath was very small with no overhead shower.
WiFi did not work after day 2 so had to use WiFi in other locations.
Lovely welcome pack.

Great location. Peaceful, quiet and safe. Handy for buses. Very well equipped and a nice secluded, private garden and sitting area outside rear of property.
Property very warm which was welcome as although weather bright, it was rather chilly.
Downstairs shower good and it was really nice to check in and find a welcome pack, sufficient for a cup of tea and to make a sandwich.

Woodcroft is in a great location if you want to be near the track in Douglas yet it is in such a peaceful setting it feels like it is in the countryside. Watch the facilities - the shower is a very tight fit, not suitable if you're larger than average!

Very pleased with the quietness and position of Woodcroft, halfway through our stay reading though our paperwork it advice is to book for next year which I tried to do only to be told it was already booked for next year, being involved in the Tourist Industry all my life on the Isle of Wight it is the usual practice to give clients the opportunity to book for the following year first, as we have done for the previous 16 years of accommodation on the Isle of Man, so very disappointed with this.

This is a gorgeous property in central Douglas. Close to Noble's park and about 10 minutes walk to the promenade. It is spacious, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. There is a private, sunny patio at the back. My only quibble (and this is personal taste) is that the mattress in the large bedroom was far too soft and too warm (memory foam?) So I slept badly, despite the wonderfully peaceful surroundings. If there was a firmer, cooler mattress on the bed, this place would be perfect!

I feel coerced by this review process.
I wanted to leave a free format review but find I am being driven in a certain direction.
Certain questions require an answer. How boring. I will answer but keep in mind that my standards may not be the same as yours.
Woodcroft is a great place to stay. If you are there for the TT you couldn't get a better location. it is 5 minutes walk to the grandstand and 20 minutes walk to the prom yet peaceful and quiet. Nice pub 10 minutes walk.
The neighbors and the owner are super nice and friendly.
No one bothered us. But they were there if needed. The loudest sound was birdsong.
Would happily stay longer or stay again.
