The house was perfect! It had everything we could possibly need, it was spotless, and is in the perfect location. We had an amazing weekend and would definitely stay again. We will 100% be booking another staycation with Island Escapes!
I was in quarantine for 2 weeks and it was made a lot easier by having a fantastic neighbour. She came out to talk to me and offered to do shopping for me. The bungalow was really lovely and spacious. The bed was really comfortable. There were essentials and treats there when I arrived. I was given really easy directions to follow and found the property easily. I would describe it as fantastic. It was just a shame that I wasnt allowed out to enjoy being in port Erin. The avenue and the people living there were so friendly. It's in a lovely location
We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. It was lovely to meet the owner who is really helpful. The Island Escapes welcome goodies of Manx produce were really appreciated. The facilities are spot-on. We had everything we needed. Great for a family and good location close to lots of activities in the South of the island. Would definitely recommend.
The Old Brickworks is such a lovely cottage in extensive grounds including a lake with resident ducks. Margo was so friendly and the welcome pack and flowers were a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our stay in the North of the Island in this comfortable well equipped cottage and would love to stay again, a real home from home. Thank you so much Margo xx
Not being able to get away this summer we decided to have a holiday on island instead and chose the Swallows because it offered something extra with its spa and gym facilities. It has been the most relaxing week with incredible views and a beautifully kept property which is eqipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering break. As well as this, the owners of the property were very helpful and friendly and left us food essentials for our arrival which was a lovely touch. The location is near to Peel and therefore extremely convenient. A wonderful place to stay that we thorou...more
Fantastic accommodation with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room as a bonus extra! Great setting and close to all the west of the Island has to offer, Glen Maye, Niarbyl, White Beach, Peel etc.
Brilliant weekend - we booked the house to celebrate our friends 40th Birthday ! The house is immaculate, superb location with stunning views ! has everything you could possibly need ! Great communication before our stay! And lovely welcome pack on arrival ! I got the checkout time wrong, and the company were really lovely and patiently waited outside whilst we finished packing up! Great place and I wouldn’t change anything !
I’m really glad we chose Palm Villa for our staycation this year. The location was perfect and the house was very clean and well decorated. They even left a food welcome package for us. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants a few days in Port Erin.
Spent a lovely two night stay and had a really relaxing time. Lovely location with fab views across the bay. Easy to find and very well appointed. Would recommend.
An ideal location to explore a part of the IOM I did not know well, the accommodation was excellent.
Gorgeous cottage, very well equipped with all you need and lovely soft furnishings and decoration. Spotlessly clean and a few little extras in a welcome pack made it even more special. We were on a staycation from Ramsey and it was so relaxing just like a proper holiday. We will definitely return to Quay Cottage even when the borders open. What a gem!
Stayed here for four nights and was very impressed. Very spacious, clean, comfortable and accommodating for a large group. On top of this, the customer service provided by island escapes was superb.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the cottage. Its was very cosy and a great base to explore the north of the island. Walking down the deserted beach we saw seals swimming close to the shore. Would recommend dinner at the Grosvenor Pub - a friendly welcome and great pub food.
We know Port Erin well, so no suprises, but enjoyed our short break.. Weather was disappointing, twice we found ourselves saying — we would have to come back in summer ! But it was mid July. Everything we needed at property the only downside for us was the step down into the kitchen, which my wife forgot about in middle of the night and went flying. In her seventies so not a great thing to happen, We solved by shutting kitchen door when we went to bed. Welcome pack appreciated, thank you Island Escapes, who changed original dates due to COVID with no problems... Great customer service
The farmhouse was clean and comfortable with a quirky layout! The welcome gift on arrival was much appreciated. All amenities and attractions in the North within easy reach by car. The barn with pool table and table tennis was enjoyed by our teenagers, and there were plenty of toys for younger children also.
Excellent location by the beach. Close to all amenities. Water sports on the doorstep. Great base for a small family.
We had a very enjoyable staycation. The apartment was nice and clean and the customer service was excellent.
Ideal base for exploring the south of the island Comfortable accommodation and the facilities of Castletown are ideal.
We had difficulties following the written instructions to find the key to enter the apartment. Suggest pointing out that access is from the rear of the property, and also defining that the key box is at eye level to the right of the door. Great views across the bay looking towards Ireland were completely spoiled by very dirty windows. Even those easily accessible to the rear of the property hadn't even been cleaned. Otherwise the property was find and comfortable, well appointed and great coffee was provided !!!
