14 Union St is in a great location, being able to walk to the many galleries that are dotted throughout the town. Also you have a NT property round the corner, great restaurants and lovely shops. The cottage is very comfy with plenty of space for 4, and a huge bed in the master bedroom!
We were lucky enough to see the Tattoo, Vintage Car Show and Farmers' Market in the first few days.
Highly recommend this place.
Only drawback is there is no outdoor space.
We expected 118 to look like the photos on the website, but unfortunately it does not. The photos were taken some years ago and while the house is undoubtedly a great holiday home, it seriously needs some TLC, starting with the door and porch you enter by which are grim to say the least.
For the price we paid, or for any price at that matter, we expect a spotless interior and well maintained building. The kitchen had several areas that had not been cleaned and the 'famous welcome basked' contained 2 items! Lots of areas of chipped paint and general scuffing made it all very disappointing, ...more
