14 Union Street is a traditional townhouse situated in the historical conservation area of the delightful harbour town of Kirkcudbright. Full of character with high quality furnishings and interiors.
Kirkcudbright (pronounced kir-coo-bree) is one of Scotland's most vibrant communities with events, exhibitions and activities taking place throughout the year. 14 Union Street is ideal for couples and small families/groups wishing to experience the ‘artist town’ of Kirkcudbright and is a central point to explore all that South-West Scotland has to offer.

We had a lovely stay in this comfortable cottage which is perfectly located in the centre of Kirkcudbright. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped with very comfortable beds and beautiful linen and towels. I highly recommend this property.

I stayed here for 6 nights in late October/early November. The house was warm, cosy, bright, nicely decorated, and quiet, given it's a terrace - I heard almost no noise from either neighbours. I liked everything about it. It's well appointed, convenient location - very good pub within a minute's walk; shops within two - and easy, free parking outside on the street.

Kirkcudbright is a cracking little town, with enough walks, cafes, shops and pubs to be a perfect base. There is gorgeous scenery all around - D&G is glorious.

There are several beaches nearby; felt almost Scandinavian on a cold grey day, and beautiful when the sun is out. The estuary scenery along the Solway makes for lovely, easy walks with great views.

An excellent holiday cottage.

Lovely cottage in Kirkcudbright within easy walking distance of shops cafés and the harbour. Very clean, great shower, beds very comfortable and the kitchen was well kitted out although a little dark. The only down side no outside space to sit in the sun also the bathroom door would not close so had to use the door stop.

The kitchen was well equipped and all in good order. The main bedroom has a large comfortable bed with quality bed linen. The second bedroom is an attractive twin but much smaller in floor space. The toilet and shower room was small but the space was adequate. Very clean. The only thing was the bathroom door would not close, it felt as if it had swollen. Others mentioned it in the visitor book.
This would need to be dealt with if the house was fully occupied.

We had a wonderful few days in this cottage so close to the harbour and attractions. It was well appointed, clean and comfortable; the master bedroom was especially bright and spacious, the back bedroom having a view of the castle. For the three of us it was just right and we hope to return some day!

This cottage is in a quiet but central location in Kirkcudbright with parking at the door. Perfect! We found the accommodation immaculate. The bed was so comfy. We slept like logs! There’s so much to see and do in Kirkcudbright within walking distance of the front door. No need to use the car. Highly recommended!
