I stayed here for 6 nights in late October/early November. The house was warm, cosy, bright, nicely decorated, and quiet, given it's a terrace - I heard almost no noise from either neighbours. I liked everything about it. It's well appointed, convenient location - very good pub within a minute's walk; shops within two - and easy, free parking outside on the street. Kirkcudbright is a cracking little town, with enough walks, cafes, shops and pubs to be a perfect base. There is gorgeous scenery all around - D&G is glorious.
