We loved our stay at the Castle Cottage. The cottage was even better than the photos showcased. The historic fittings and decor of the house was incredible charming. Paired with a large dining area and updated kitchen, it was a fantastic combination of old world charm and modern convenience. The cottage was close to central Canterbury, the train station and some delightful shops and restaurants. It's central location meant it was quite loud in the evening with passers by, but things quieted down by 11pm or so. I will note that the stairs are quite steep and this would not be a good fit for anyone who would have difficulty with narrow staircases. I would also recommend to bring your own pillow if you do not like full, firm pillows. There were ample linens and towels, and the bathroom was excellently fitted.

The cottage was perfect, it had everything needed to have a home away from home. The location was also perfect.
