Our multi-generational family getaway to Camber Sands was wonderful, and Duneland was the perfect home base. We were immediately struck by the architecture and decor—the way the house frames those stunning sand dune views is beautiful.

A special thank you to the owners, Anna and John, for being so attentive. They reached out both before and during our stay to ensure we were comfortable and to quickly answer any questions we had; their kindness really made our trip feel special.

The house was a huge hit with the kids, who loved the hot tub and board games, while we appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The location is also unbeatable, with the beach and local shops just a 2–3 minute walk away. The beach is gorgeous, though it can get quite windy, so be sure to pack something to shield yourself from the sand. We had a lovely time and would happily return!

We had a lovely stay at Duneland, situated on a nice sandy road l, the house was fantastic, with all the modern comforts and everything we needed for a relaxing break. We particularly loved the garden, which was perfect for us and our dog, and the peaceful location was ideal — just a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach.

The nearby corner shop (a hop and a skip away) was a real bonus, offering all those little essentials you might need during your stay. I also particularly loved the lovely bathroom products — such a thoughtful touch!

The house has a lovely quirky character that made it feel like a real holiday home rather than just a rental. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, always on hand if we needed anything.

A wonderful, peaceful place to stay, and we’d definitely love to come back!

We had 3 nights at Duneland and it was brilliant- great location and perfect for our family of 5. There was loads of space, really thoughtful touches and a hot tub! Thoroughly enjoyed our time and can’t wait to return!

Wonderful stay in beautiful, modern fully equipped beach house. We felt like we were in the South West of the US.
Lovely garden to relax in. Totally secure.
And bonus of a hot tub.

Enjoyed exploring the area from Dungeness to Rye.

Our second time staying at Duneland and it was fantastic again. So close to camber beach and perfectly located to get to Rye or Dungeness.
The sun is on the back all day making it a great spot for outdoor breakfast or dinner and some sunbathing.
It’s very quiet and you can truly relax here. Inside there is air conditioning in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen equipment should you want to cook.
We enjoyed spending the days at the beach then chilling out in the garden. A hot tub in the evening while the sun sets, just perfect.
We hope to come back.

We had such a lovely stay at Duneland and would highly recommend it. The location is perfect, just a two-minute walk to the beach and being surrounded by the dunes made it really peaceful and relaxing.

The secure garden was a huge plus for us travelling with dogs, as we could completely switch off while they safely enjoyed the space and lounged on the decking. The hot tub was also a great touch and made the stay feel extra special.

Inside, everything was very well thought out, from the toiletries in the bathroom to a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook. We also loved the outdoor seating and dining areas, although the weather didn’t quite allow us to use them, it would be perfect in warmer months.

Overall, it felt like a proper escape. Our dogs were really settled and happy, and so were we. We can’t wait to come back.
