Can we stay one more day? That was what we were all saying the morning of our final day at Springhill. It was the most wonderful weekend, a gathering of my friends and family as a post-wedding 'hen-do' celebration. The house is so unique in the most beautiful setting, gorgeous views from every room. I remember sitting in the sauna watching a sheepdog round up the sheep through the window! Beautiful. It is the home of an interior designer and has a warm and inviting aura - much like the lovely home owner Danielle who gave us a tour when we arrived. It felt like a privilege to be trusted with her beautiful home and we really loved every minute.
We had beauty therapists join us for massages and facials hosted in the wonderful family room. We went back and forth between the sauna and the pool. We explored the local woods on a country walk. Ate great food and recharged in a gorgeous space.
We were a group of old friends, but it would also be wonderful for a family group as there's a pool table, a library, huge selection of books, beautifully designed serene bedrooms and modern bathrooms, even a gym if you are feeling active.
Already looking for an excuse to visit again next year! We thought it would be a lovely cosy spot in the winter too...
100% recommend, you will not be disappointed!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful country home in East Sussex. The house itself is full of character, immaculately kept, and extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The gardens are stunning, with plenty of space to unwind, and the pool was an absolute highlight – sparkling clean and perfect for both lazy afternoons and refreshing morning swims.

A huge thank you to Danielle for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home! The house is so thoughtfully and elegantly decorated that it truly felt like we were abroad. There was more than enough space for our group of 10 adults, and the facilities were incredible — from the pool and gym to the sauna and even croquet. The home is set in the countryside with stunning views and plenty of land to explore. Danielle was so friendly upon our arrival, giving us a warm welcome and a tour of the property, and she was very easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful sunny long weekend at Springhill & made the most of the incredible swimming pool and gardens. Danielle (host) was super helpful providing loads of info before our arrival and throughout our stay. The house itself is HUGE, really well equipped, and the perfect place for a get together. We were very lucky with the weather, but even in bad weather there would plenty to do with games galore, pool table, games console etc. We’ll be coming back for sure!
