Hawkswood is fabulous! From the moment you walk in, the staff greet you with a friendly smile and you are escorted to your beautiful accommodations. The rooms are spacious (American style) the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large with all the comforts of a five star hotel and more. The estate has a golf driving range, putting and chipping area and is located just a few minutes drive outside of St. Andrews near The Peat Inn. Three families (including 3 children) had a great time here - kids loved the putting green and freedom of the large garden. Whole house was immaculately clean and well placed to drive into St Andrews and Craigton Country Park. House itself is spacious - two extra telly lounges as well as main living space - Sky sports for the dads! Hosts provided a set of golf clubs on request for the pitch and putt area. Second time we have stayed there and would certainly recommend it for a cosy, comfortable family stay.
I have stayed at the Hawkswood Country Estate with friends & family a dozen+ times over the last 8 years. The management team (family owned & operated), provide amazing service. The estate rooms & facilities are spotless. Expectation are exceeded! In my 40 years of hosting golf & tour groups, the Hawkswood Country Estate is at the top of my list!
