Hawkswood Country Estate is truly a luxury experience. Over the past 10 years we have had the pleasure of staying at all 3 properties. For our most recent visit we chose Bowhill House. The house, as always, was very clean and the attention to detail is second to none. The bedrooms are comfortable and relaxing, the bathrooms spotless, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly require for a weekend break or a long term rental and the communal areas are spacious and welcoming, and the pool table is a hit. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, and the golf putting green and hot tub were a real highlight—perfect for relaxing and having a bit of fun. We booked the house for some friends and family visiting for our daughter’s wedding at Kinkell Byre near by. The accommodation is first class and way better than a luxury hotel. John was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed chatting to him. Our guests just loved the house and the location give you the best of both worlds with a lovely countryside setting 15 minutes from St andrews. We will be back and we would very highly recommend Hawkswood Country Estate.
