Bright, fresh and inviting, Arnold Cottage enjoys glorious views over the surrounding fields to the sea. The upside-down arrangement of the house makes the most of its unique position and the decking area provides a fabulous space to unwind and take in the Cornish air.

With Treyarnon Bay just a 10 minute walk away and lovely restaurants in the local village, just one and a half miles up the road, there is everything you need for a perfect holiday without having to venture far.

We enjoyed our stay.

There were mosquitos in the hall way which occurred over several days and may have not been noticed by the lady servicing the property

Lovely cottage but a bit tired looking in places now. Not the comfiest sofa. Quite a few bugs on windowsills not cleaned up. Vacuuming ok but hoover under rugs please!
Cutlery poor. Used to get a bottle of wine and biscuits as well!
Bedding and towels lovely.
Please trim tamarisk in garden as spoiling the view over fields.
Would stay again as lovely overall. Location good.

We have stayed at Arnold before & always enjoyed it- the location is fantastic being so close to Treyarnon/Constantine/ Booby's bays. This time, however, we were dissappointed, sadly, as there was one roll of toilet paper for 2 people for a week & 3 dishwashing tablets- it felt too utilitatrian and slightly meagre in terms of household/ domestic/ practical provision & we had to break our retreat at Arnold & go into town shopping which was irksome.

Some of the facilities could do with an upgrade. The removal of the blinds upstairs could be a challenge, privacy and muting the sunshine. Are they being replaced.

Second time we have visited Arnold cottage.
Perfect location lovely and quiet with plenty of space.
Very close to Padstow as well as all shops restaurants and bars.

Arnold cottage is in an ideal location being a few minutes drive to the beach and provides very comfortable and spacious accommodation. Our party of four had a fab stay there and minor issues were dealt with speedily. We look forward to coming back again.

Stayed at the cottage over a number of years. Property is beginning to look and feel tired. Issues around the plumbing (toilet doesn’t function).

Overall good location, we were warm and cosy, however the driveway was a problem, it is too steep and caught the bottom of our car, we had to park in the adjoining property to avoid any more damage, the welcome book did not match the cottage, ie WiFi, wooden floors, quartz worktops etc. The bedroom door handles were extremely noisy. The cottage would benefit from a deep clean, especially down and behind radiators. Sue and Steve opposite were most helpful.

We rented both Arnold and Primrose cottage for 12 of us. It was good having Arnold where we could put members of the family that did not have children. It was November so we did not use the garden. There are some great walks direct from the cottage.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Arnold cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and well presented with lovely countryside views from the decked patio. The bedrooms being downstairs meant they stayed lovely and cool during the hot weather and aside from the mattress on the double bed being a bit uncomfortable we and the children had no complaints. Upstairs had plenty of space for a family of four. The cottage contained all the utensils and appliances we needed for a self catering break and the cream tea provided was a lovely, thoughtful touch and much appreciated. If we had one criticism (and it’s only a very small one) would be the sofas were both rather worn and a bit saggy to sit on.
The location of the cottage was great, you can walk to beautiful Treyarnon beach in about 15 minutes but it is along a narrow road which gets busy in summer. We usually drove due to have 2 kids, a dog and various body boards,paddle boards and beach paraphernalia to bring with us! Parking was ready available at the beach and not overly expensive. The beach itself was lovely and very family and dog friendly.
All in all a brilliant stay and we will definitely be looking to return next year.

We had a comfortable stay at Arnolds Cottage. The cottage was excellently placed for access to the south west coast path and local beaches. We often were able to walk straight out and leave the car at home. Some of the property was in need of a facelift but this didn’t affect our comfort. I would thoroughly recommend the property to nylons wanting to stay in a beautiful part of the uk.
