A favourite property with our guests who return year after year. This gorgeous 400 year old cottage has everything you could wish for. It is only a 10 minute walk to the golden sands at Treyarnon Bay – one of the best beaches on the north coast. It’s a wonderful family beach great for surfing and exploring the rock pools.

Primrose Cottage is private and peaceful and with all its charms and character this property is perfect for families and those just wishing to get away from it all.

We had a fab New Year at Primrose Cottage. The house is well equipped, so cosy and warm and a stones through from Treyarnon Bay. Perfect for dog walks also to Constantine and Porthcothan.
It has a lovely cosy Aga which kept the house beautifully warm, an enclosed garden, so perfect for dogs and children to play and only a quick stroll to the beach. Perfect!

This year we celebrated our 10th consecutive year of holidaying at Primrose Cottage. It is perfect for our needs and never fails to satisfy. The cottage has so much charm and it ticks all the boxes when we look for a coastal holiday with the dogs. Unlike many dog friendly cottages the flooring is a great combination of slate and carpet. Not having laminate for the dogs to slip on is just perfect.

Very spacious house with very practical rooms. We were 2 families with each 3 children and everybody had his space. 10 comfortable beds. Very quiet outside and a lovely lawn where the children could play. Everything was close to the house. Padstow just a 10-15 minutes drive. The area and the beaches are really beautiful. Everything you need is provided in the house. Maybe there could be an extra large pot and pan in the kitchen. We had to cook for 10 people. But everything worked perfect. We had a lovely stay.

We rented both Primrose and Arnold cottages for our party of 12. We were all able to get round the table at Primrose and did all the catering there. It was a great location and even though it was November we enjoyed surfing on the nearby beaches.

Primrose cottage, is ideally set for peace & tranquility. We as a family have being staying at the cottage for the past 15 years. Many happy memories collected & saved. The enclosed garden is ideal for children & dogs, games played on the large lawn too. Ideal for the beach a short distance away at Treyarnon Bay. The cottage is our home from home, & we will be back again next year.

This will be the third time we have stayed in Primrose Cottage for our Cornish summer holidays. We have been coming every year to Cornwall for 35 years and love this area.
The cottage is a brilliant place to enjoy a big family holiday with lots of space to spread out and relax. The location is ideal as it is only a short walk to Treyarnon Bay - one of our favourite beaches .The garden is a wonderful place to sit out in as it is very sheltered and gets the sun throughout the whole day. The grassy area is ideal for young children to play in and be safe.
We would like to thank Joanna especially for making the cottage such a welcoming place to arrive in and for quickly sorting out
any problems we have had while staying in the cottage We look forwards to our holiday at Primrose Cottage in August 2023

We had a lovely time at Primrose Cottage. Great location and fab beaches. No working sun umbrella for the patio thus no shade available whilst eating outside. This was noted to the caretaker on arrival but not rectified during our stay. This was disappointing customer service. Apart from this, we had a fabulous stay and I would recommend this property to others, particularly if you want to be close to great beaches

Beautiful old cottage perfectly situated near enough to be able to walk to Treyarnon bay.
Quiet and peaceful . Gorgeous beds and linen. Well equipped kitchen.
Have stayed before and was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t informed that the games , books and dvds had been removed. ( understand covid restrictions etc)
Also no basic condiments available.?
Considering that it was beginning of the season the garden needed a bit of work.
Overall very happy.
