We were really looking forward to staying in this very new property and we were not disappointed. The house, the comfort, the quality of the furniture, the views.......!!. did not disappoint and the photos do not do it justice.
It's hard to explain how a property can be both spacious and cosy at the same time but Mill Farmhouse really is. With 3 separate lounge areas there is room for everyone to "do their own thing" yet still feel involved in all that is going on. The kitchen is fabulous for both cooking and socialising.
All bedrooms and en-suites are spacious and comfortable and no one feels they "got the short straw" everyone is different with unique features.
The circular staircase is quite steep and anyone with significant mobility problems may struggle and would need to take extra care.
It's worth noting that the footpath to the beach is across a field, but once on the beach the walk to Beadnell is hard to beat on any day!
This is our fourth stay in Northumberland with Catch the Breeze and this is by far the best property so far - mainly owing to how spacious it is, but also because of the quality of furnishings CTB are known for.
Staff are all wonderful and a special mention to Claire, Guest Relations & Property Co-ordinator for her exceptional service.

Very beautiful setting and very comfortable accommodation.

Minor issues experienced some of which we told Clare about:

no bathroom storage around the sink
no obvious location for hair drying
cooker hob was a minor hazard; overcome by draping tea towel over the edge so the edge was more obvious as you lent over pans
double locking doors was troublesome from inside

Had an amazing weeks stay at Mill Farmhouse. It is a beautiful property in a beautiful location.
It is furnished to a high standard throughout with great attention to detail providing everything you could possibly need.
Clare from Catch the Breeze was very welcoming and provided us with great information both about the property and the local area.

This is our third visit to Mill Farmhouse this year which probably says everything! Three generations of our family have enjoyed great holidays in this stunning home. The house is luxurious, comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean, The kitchen is really well equipped, the seating areas are comfortable and the beds are divine - you are guaranteed a good nights sleep! The bathrooms are modern and really clean. The location of Mill Farmhouse is stunning, you can relax and enjoy the views and look out for deer, rabbits, foxes and lots of birds. The garden is beautiful and there is also a large enclosed grassed area that is lovely for the children to play on. Five minutes stroll across the adjoining field takes you to the coastal footpath and to a stunning almost deserted white sand beach. There are several excellent restaurants in the area. Mill Farmhouse will provide a wonderful holiday base for all ages. The team at Catch the Breeze are lovely and very helpful- nothing is too much trouble for them.

Mill Farmhouse is a stunning “no expense spared” holiday home. It’s a really comfortable house, the bedrooms are large with super beds and modern, spotless en suites. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook a family meal although dining out in the area is excellent. The location of Mill Farmhouse is idyllic, standing in a large rural plot it’s a lovely place to totally relax and enjoy the local wildlife and watch the birds. A five minute stroll across the adjoining fields takes you to a beautiful sandy beach or on to the coastal path leading to Beadnell bay in about 20 mins, and Low Newton and Craster if you want to stretch your legs. We would totally recommend this amazing 5 star property - we have already booked our next visit

Absolutely loved staying in this beautiful house. Everything immaculately clean and well presented. The perfect size and layout for our family of 7 plus dog! Beautiful house with wonderful views, pleasant walk to an unspoilt beach, and a resident barn owl. Perfect!

This house was perfect for our family holiday. 6 adults, 2 children and a dog..Wonderful facilities and every comfort.. The furnishings and kitchen fittings etc. are top quality, Location is a short walk from a wonderful beach and walkable to Beadmell. Short drives to other local landmarks.
