We have loved our time at the the reading rooms, a beautiful and cosy cottage, all on one level. Kitchen was very well equipped. Wood supplied for the wood burner. Situated in a small quiet hamlet The garden sits right next to the beck, & Sheep grazing on the hill sides. There was a well thought out welcome pack for us and one for the dogs. Although they did fight over the ball! We ventured out every day. There is so much to see and do. We visited Malham tarn. Hawes is close by for any supplies and we loved just having wonder past the shops. There are walks from here also. Hardraw is close b...more

Not just a holiday let, a catch the breeze holiday let the first place I’ve stayed in that felt like a home. It has everything you could possibly need and the customer service is excellent.
We had an amazing stay at Middlerigg. The location on the harbour is outstanding and everything in the house exudes quality. The house is incredibly well appointed and very comfortable. The views across the coastline to Dunstanburgh Castle are superb.
Superb property in a fantastic position in Craster. Very well equipped, super comfy, sunroom a lovely place to sit and relax. Patio overlooking the harbour and sea beyond a great place for breakfast and coffee on a sunny morning. Will definitely look to book again with Catch the Breeze if/when we return to Craster
3 generations of our family stayed for a week at Rock Lobster in July. The house was amazing and the views out to sea just spectacular. Everything was lovely and clean and the house well equipped with everything you could need! (And the 2 dishwashers a game changer- definitely stealing that idea for any future kitchen planning) We really made some wonderful memories, sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins and the seabirds and gorgeous walks from the back gate… definitely take some binoculars with you for your stay. Craster itself was well placed for day trips anywhere and had a great...more
