We really enjoyed our short stay at dog friendly Anoush. The cottage is beautifully decorated and appointed. Very clean. The hot tub, of course, was wonderful. The kitchen has all the essential cutlery, crockery and utensils. There were some lovely touches such as fresh flowers on arrival and the dog treats. The snug has a TV, only for live-streaming accounts eg., Netflix. We had no heating the first evening but this was remedied the following day by our host. The kingsize beds are comfortable. Pity there is only one bathroom which is small. We brought our dog's crate but for other dog owners and families with young children, stair gates might be useful. A lot of care and thought has gone into making this cottage a very welcoming and homely retreat. You can hear the traffic (A337) in the distance especially at night.

Overall we had a very nice stay at Anoush and it was a cute little cottage( which is defo smaller in real life), it has been decorated really nicely. We did feel the following improvements could be made:
Better signage from road side to help find cottage (difficult when gate open to see sign in the dark)
Comfier mattresses and pillows
More dishes/ serving bowls
Clingfilm/ Foil to be provided (did state there would be some)
Wire racks to put hot pans on surfaces
Another lamp in lounge as can get quite dark
A night light in garden- difficult to see bbq in winter months
Placemats for the table
Possibly provide some board games?

Nice pub within walking distance.

The cottage was really great and had a lovely feel about it. It was all decorated for Christmas which was a bonus for us visiting at Twixmas. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and cooking on the Aga was wonderful. The hot tub was great and a treat whilst the weather wasn't the best.
A lovely area with lots of places to visit and do over winter.
We would certainly recommend this cottage to others.
Only scored lower for location as you can hear some road noise and the extra cost for the hot tub and Twixmas meant it wasn't so much value for money however we had no complaints.

A nice stay in Everton in a location that is better for beach walks rather than the forest.

The property has some lovely, thoughtful touches. The kitchen/dining room is a great space, well designed. The hot tub area is well designed too.

But it needs more care on the basics as well as the flourishes: terrible shower pressure (get a pump), the window doesn’t close in the main bedroom, the sofa has a broken slope, the washing machine is old and the hob. Fix those small issues and the scores will go up.

The description as a semi detached property is a little misleading. This is a large house, split in two with shared drive and bin area. Between the “properties” is a door in the kitchen and the garden with no lock on your side. I found it uncomfortable. Again, small thing to fix, and this may just be a personal lack of trust on my part.

All in all, it’s a nice property on its way to being great.

Had a lovely stay in anoush recently. It’s in a perfect location to explore the New forest area. It had everything needed in the house and was very comfortable. The hot tub was a bonus too.

Overall very nice house. Just a few niggles that let it down. TV not as shown in promotional photos much too small for the room and lost internet connection ruin at 11.30pm every night. Wi-Fi was hit and miss. Fridge Freezer in kitchen not as in photos. Full size iron would have been good as wouldn’t cost much and would be better than very small travel iron provided. Also washer dryer would have been better than just a washing machine as no where to dry anything once washed. Only little things but for the price would expect basics to be covered.

We had a lovely weeks stay. The cottage is immaculately clean and well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the garden is beautiful. We used the spa which was clean and well maintained and a great addition to to the accommodation.
The only slight issues are that one of the sofas in the living room is in need of attention and the cushions collapse when you sit on it and be aware that there are no shelves or anywhere to put your things in the bathroom and no plug near a mirror to dry your hair but I’m sure these could be easily fixed.
It says that you can store bikes in the garden which you can but be aware that the gate doesn’t lock so you need to lock them up.
The location was perfect for cycling and we went to some great local pubs and restaurants which were recommended by the hosts. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Had a lovely Easter break with family (2 young kids) at Anoush. The house was exactly as described and accurate photos. Location also good, very easy to get to all the key places in the New Forest and Milton on Sea for the beach. The beds were very comfy, although pillows could’ve been firmer. The electric hob was difficult to use and no instructions, however a quick search on internet resolved this. I was grateful the AGA was on, as the hob was intermittent. The hot tub was a lovely luxury though the weather meant we did not make full use. One of the sofas needs replacing, the other was very comfy. The TV/internet was good although it seemed to stop working at 11.45pm every night! Was easy to sign into Netflix/Prime. The children loved the bunk bed room and making ‘camps’ with all the blankets/pillows. Only other points were no instructions to put heating on (which I figured out) and the windows need insulating (eg master bedroom one could not be closed properly and it was pretty cold). However, I would recommend and book again in the future (maybe summer)as everyone had an enjoyable stay.

Lovely house but let down by the poor sanitation facilities
Toilets not flushing properly
As only one shower in the whole house it needed to be better
If someone was in the shower and then someone else was washing up in the kitchen the shower literally stopped working
Not good enough in a property that cost that amount of money

We really enjoyed our stay at anoush. The house has a lovely feel to it, plenty of character and the description is accurate.
Plenty to do within easy reach by car, or a great local pub a few minutes walk

My family had a great few days at Anoush. The house was beautifully renovated and was very comfortable - had everything we need and we had some great evenings sitting outside in the garden.

It’s also very well located and a short drive to shops, the beach and nice walks.
