We totally loved our stay here. It was very clean, and had everything you needed and more. The beds were so comfy, and pillows a dream to sleep on. Wardrobe and draw space in the bedrooms was perfect. The 2 lovely sitting rooms to either watch the world go by or the other to lounge about in, whilst playing card/board games. The location was perfect for the town of Lymington, with the High Street, Saturday market and bars and restaurants all within walking distance. We found Room 23 to clean, beautifully decorated and thought out, quirky, peaceful and with a lovely little garden to look out on and sit in, all the little cute touches in the garden were appreciated. The selection of teas and coffees was good and we especially enjoyed the complimentary chocolates. Location is good, you can walk to the beach and seafront, which we did, we swam in the sea and were lucky enough to watch a seal bobbing up and down for ages, loved that. Lots to do in the area. Recommend The Noisey Lobster, restaurant in Mudeford.
My partner and I stayed two nights at Bramble Hut for their birthday, and we had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic, and we loved being so close to nature. The Hut itself was perfectly equipped for our stay, and super comfortable. Of course, we enjoyed the hot tub - it was the perfect treat after a full day's activities in the New Forest. We really appreciated the extra touches too from the Hosts, and we definitely stay again in future.
Seabiscuit is located right in the heart of Lymington - right off the high street with a great mix of local and boutique shops, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants right on the doorstep. An easy walk down to the quayside to admire the yachts and sit out looking over the harbour. A dedicated secure parking place is provided next to the mews properties in which Seabiscuit resides. A luxurious apartment (with parking) quietly situated in the coastal town of Highcliffe a short walk to an array of shops and cafés (try The Catch, fish and chip shop which is really good). Seashells is equipped with all the mod cons you would expect for a holiday stay and was immaculate throughout providing an excellent base to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas. The quality of the furnishings, the extra little touches like fresh flowers, wine & chocolates, the generous room sizes & general layout of the home ensured a very comfortable & happy long weekend break for my family with 2 toddlers. Very much appreciated
It was ‘Wow’ as soon as we walked through the door. This house has been very professionally designed inside and out. The ‘RalphLauren’ style courtyard was stunning. We almost lived out there in the shaded sun. (And I’m a garden designer!). The Kitchen Diner could host 10 comfortably to impress your friends for lunch. We only used one bedroom but the bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage and a super bathroom. Locally, everything was just a short walk away. This was the second time we rented this house from this company, as the house and customer service were amazing the first time. And we certainly weren’t disappointed this time. We particularly liked the attention to detail, and for us who wanted walks, cycling routes and pubs within easy reach, plus the high street it really worked.
Lovely shepherds hut to make a nice weekend away and use as a base. Super clean and cosy with lovely attention to detail. All the info is on the listing but it was louder than we thought - although passenger trains might finish at about 11pm there were still trains passing through after that - maybe cargo trains. We could also hear the neighbours so at 3am someone was using a power tool and we could hear voices. I wouldn’t say this is a peaceful stay but the hosts put ear plugs in the hut.
Had a lovely break here with friends, house was ideal with everyone having their own bathroom facilities. The kitchen came equipped with everything you could possibly need.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, from the helpful team who contacted us before arrival to check if there were any questions to the house itself. The house is beautifully presented and has everything you could want, couple that with views across to the Isle of Wight and a short stroll to wander along the cliff tops, then relaxing on the balcony with a coffee (or wine) afterwards All in all an enjoyable weekend break

This modern apartment in Lymington is very close to all the towns amenities , including a car park. It has everything you need for a short break and is very comfortable. Excellent for anyone with a disability too. The bedroom is very spacious with a comfy bed. The only downside is having to access a garage for bins which is difficult.
We had the most wonderful time together in the New Forest, we had a lady of 87 with us in a wheelchair and we coped ok. I had my birthday BBQ there all was so easy to cook with all the equipment provided. The house is amazing , lots of things to do there, ping pong, football, basketball, lots of board games too. Jacuzzi was well used , and the gym , not so much the sauna as the weather was very hot while we were there. Thank you
We had a truly wonderful stay at Fair Winds recently. We have stayed in a number of properties from New Forest Escapes, all of which have been fantastic but Fair Winds was next level. The space, both indoors and outdoors, was so well thought out and the decor was very tastefully done. The huge sliding doors into the garden are even better than the photos suggest and create a stunning frame as you look into the well maintained garden. We were a family of 6 adults, 1 small child and 2 dogs, with 2 birthdays to celebrate! The house is wonderful for a larger group, as each bedroom has its own en-suite, and the shared areas are very comfortable. The beds, which are huge, were on the firm side and comfort level is quite subjective. The kitchen was well equipped for our requirements (nothing too complicated being cooked!) with plenty of cupboards for food storage and 2 fridges, and the whole house was spotlessly clean. Our stay at Victory Cottage was made less satisfactory by a number of issues: We realised when booking, that Captain's Row was in the centre of Lymington and that there would be some traffic noise. What we didn't realise was that Captain's Row is a narrow road and a major thoroughfare, so that there was a constant stream of traffic from early morning until late at night. Earplugs are a necessity. We understood that the property had underfloor heating and we could see that there were several wall thermostats where we could adjust the room temperature if necessary. Captains keep is lovely, very stylish and clean with everything you need for a nice weekend away. The kitchen is really well equips and the beds and bedding were of good quality. We had a really wonderful family stay, absolutely perfect if you are visiting by train as it is literally on your doorstep. The only thing I would request, which is minor but as everything else was so tasteful and well equipt, it would be lovely to have nice shower gel in the fabulous shower.

Beautiful, comfortable and cosy house. Well appointed, there's everything you need. Ample outside space and large garden. Communication prior to our stay was exemplary. Stylish and cosy place to stay. Great location for lots of coastal walks, treks into the New Forest and museum visits. The cottage is very comfortable and quiet.
Everything we could’ve possibly needed was available. The house is really spacious so plenty of areas to sit and relax un lovely comfort. Very easy walking into town about 15 minutes, and the pub that’s five minutes walk away is absolutely splendid. The house is great, very comfortable and has everything you could possibly want or expect. It has a large back room that we spent most of our time in and can easily fit everyone in and big enough for people to do their own thing if they want. The patio and garden room were also great. There are also another a couple of smaller lounges if anyone wants a break. The kitchen is fully equipped. Beds were comfy, nice bathrooms. There was nothing to fault in the house. We had a very enjoyable week in Nuthatch. The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. There were only 2 of us plus a dog and we found it a perfect size. It would be good for up to four adults, but six would be a bit of a squeeze, especially in the lounge. The cottage has an enclosed courtyard at the back, with outdoor table and chairs, and a small enclosed front area with a bench which catches the afternoon/evening sun (and if you are lucky a pony or donkey will amble by). We are 2 couples who stayed with a small dog for a long weekend at Watch Cottage and loved it. The house is beautiful,; tastefully and thoughtfully furnished and so clean and comfortable. The outside space is perfect for al fresco eating (we also enjoyed the lovely cat next door peering round the corner at us!) We didn't need to use the garden room as we were lucky enough to have great weather but it's another nice area to use. We actually spent most of our time in the homely kitchen. We were a multigenerational family who stayed at Furzedown Farm House for a long weekend. The house suited us perfectly, as it had multiple bedrooms (including two very large rooms) and plenty of bathrooms. All of the living rooms and kitchen were spacious and nicely decorated. The view from upstairs was fantastic, enjoyed from the rocking chairs on the balcony! The peacocks in the garden were a highlight, plus the 2 minute walk to the pub down a leafy lane was a bonus! This apartment is a wing of Exbury House. Exbury House is set within 200 acres of beautiful grounds which are just stunning. Located just outside the New Forest and a short drive to Beaulieu. The apartment is accessed by a lift or stairs, it is very spacious and ideal for a family get together. Spacious tall ceilings and the feeling of grandeur awaits. We had a wonderful stay here, the manager was easy to call when we asked a gas canister for the bbq and they came over straight away. Location is great, house is perfect and super clean and tidy. We will come back again that is for sure.
We are two couples in our 70’s (old school friends) who holiday together once a year. We booked this place because of the location and its facilities. We always insist on having separate bedrooms and bathrooms (preferably with walk in showers). This property was not a disappointment as it lived up to the description in every way. We had one or two questions/issues before the holiday and during the stay and the staff at New Forest Adventures were very friendly, helpful and professional.
We stayed at Moo Cottage as a group of 6 friends (3 couples) for 3 nights. The property is really lovely and in a very peaceful spot. We had a great stay, but there were a few things which could have been better. Could have done with a lot more crockery and glasses, the towel rails in 2 of the bathrooms were left on full which made the rooms really hot. One of these wasn't easy to turn off as it wasn't obvious where the switch was. We booked Little Nye independently from the main house which fortunately was empty during our stay. We very much enjoyed our visit, the location is great with walks on the doorstep and we loved the Gun Inn round the corner. However, although the description makes it clear this is an annexe, I don’t think we would have enjoyed it very much if the house had been occupied. Little Nye was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The decking and garden furniture could benefit from a refresh as could the bathroom cabinets and floor. New Forest Escapes customer service was exceptional.
I regularly take my grandchildren away and this house was perfect for them. Age between 7-11 (girls) the garden was great for all manner of games and the bonus was the cows in the field. The layout meant anyone cooking in the well stocked kitchen could engage with others outside easily. New forest Escapes were exceptionally efficient and charming. A truly lovely holiday
A comfortable, well equipped, ideally situated property between Brockenhurst and Lymington. A minor problem on day one was quickly resolved by the management company.

We stayed as a group of 9 adults who have high standards. The house was beautiful, lots of space and the garden view was outstanding. Excellenr location for Forest walks, local pubs and trip into Fordingbridge. Good communication in advance, would recommend and rebook.
This place was perfect for us. Well equipped and cosy. The support from the team was superb when we had an issue ( caused by us). Will definitely come back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at The Old Post Office. The house was beautifully decorated and there was plenty of room for five adults and a dog. The sea views from the rooms at the front of the house were stunning and we spent most of our time walking along the coastal paths and the Hurst Spit. As you can imagine, our cockerpoo loved it too!

We loved the Gin’s Barn, beautifully located, view on the river and on Isle of Wight! Beautiful barn, very cosy, very nice kitchen. The New forest gives a lot of opportunities. Walking, biking, good restaurants in the neighbourhood, the marina in Lymington. We will certainly come back!!
The cottage is picture perfect, in a beautiful part of the forest, with direct access to miles of walking -our dog loved it! Jane the owner went above and beyond to help me sort a surprise birthday present for my partner, I can’t praise her enough. We will be back
I stayed in the upstairs section of Burley mews which is perfect for a couple. The location is tranquil with stunning walks on the doorstep or a short drive away. The cottage is clean with tasteful decor and well equiped. Thought has been given to every need including provision for a dog and a baby/toddler. Nick was very helpful and responsive to my enquiries. I would highly recommend.

Spent a lovely 5 days at Sway corner. Good location although the road gets very busy at peak times. The house was very homely and presented beautifully with plenty of space for everyone . We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
We had a lovely time at Wisteria Cottage. There are walks right on the doorstep. The house is immaculate and very well appointed. The weather was kind and we made use of the wonderful terrace. The surround sound on the television was great. it is located in a peaceful location. A wonderful park that enables you to walk into the Town or to a local pub. All in all we had a wonderful weekend.
Our party was 3 adult work friends so we booked a 3 bedroom house. The property is beautiful and we had a fantastic stay however, the third bedroom is really geared up for children rather than an adult. It is very small and the bed wasn’t very comfortable at all. The other bedrooms were fine. Great location and we loved all of the shops.

We were very lucky with the weather but had a fantastic stay at Nye Creek. The house has a very high spec and is very comfortable and has everything you need for a home from home holiday. It is also ideally situated with the fantastic Gunn pub a short stroll away, highly recommended we ate there twice. Lymington is also a short drive for the Saturday market get there early to get parked though. We also had a wonderful afternoon team at Emes tea room in Brokenhurst. Overalll a great family break and Gus the Boston loved exploring the garden and surrounding coastline.
The house itself is extremely beautiful, the furnishing is straight from a magazine and it’s equipped very well. However, there were some important issues which did worsen our stay. The garden is absolutely not secure - along one long side the fence is around a foot off the ground meaning any small or medium dog can just walk out. There are also some large holes leading directly only a well used country road. Also, we asked in advance if there were fans as it was in a heatwave. We were told there were fans and AC in the attic. We were so excited to return to this beautiful, spacious house in Lymington,with beautiful views over the river , and it was every bit as lovely as we remembered. It’s very comfortable & tastefully decorated, & had everything we needed. Our small dogs were welcome too, & the garden really is secure, which meant we could relax and enjoy our stay. We were very well looked after by the hosts too. We’d happily return again!
The cottage was clean and welcoming. Well stocked with things you might need including washing supplies, coffee pods and bin bags. The parking clock was very useful.
A great holiday cottage - compact but surprisingly spacious. The bathroom arrangements are interesting so check them but for our 3 family households there was no problem at all. Bedrooms all well appointed and comfy. It's an old cottage with bags of character and the best bit was a fantastic big garden for kids to play in.
I booked this property for a week for my brother and I to celebrate our Mum's big birthday with the grandchildren. The house was impressive and felt special, but was also cosy. We felt at home straightaway. There was enough space to have our own privacy as well as to congregate together. The pool was a particular highlight and I'll cherish those memories of all enjoying September sunshine in the outdoor pool. I'd highly recommend staying at this house. It's close to some lovely little villages as well as the magical New Forest. Great for all ages.
Our second visit to The Lookout this year, the view is breathtaking. Lovely walks from the front gate in all directions. the Foresters along the road serve a lovely Roast Dinner. Almost every morning we saw deers in the closed section of the garden below the terrace which was lovely. Also managed to see some of the pigs that were put out for pannage season the day before we left. Can’t recommend The Lookout high enough
The house was lovely and we enjoyed making the most out of the outdoor space. Eating dinner in the covered area and then playing games. The games room, pool and jacuzzi were great additions to the holiday and a 15 minute walk took you to the centre of town. A wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom would help rather than the ladder with hangers. The only real negative was the very poor WiFi network, the website said this was good but I was unable to work and one of the party had an interview whilst there which kept disconnecting.
What a wonderful quirky place to stay! From the moment you walk into the old church you cannot fail to fall in love with it. From the table which converts to a snooker table, the beautifully retained features and the unique hot tub in its unusual surroundings. The icing on the cake would have been if the organ and record player were operational but what a place!!
Perfect escape - great space and terrace in a sunny private quiet spot. Excellent cooking facilities, storage and plenty of hot water. Was too hot and sunny to consider using the wood burner. Glad there was a fan Lovely items in a welcome pack and books / magazines available to peruse. Did have a small problem which was managed pretty well A few more hooks / freestanding clothes dryer would be helpful for beach and shower towels
We paid just under £2,000 for a short stay at Ashdale Cottage, and the biggest disappointment was simply that the reality did not match the photographs or the price point. The property felt tired and overdue a proper reset. This wasn’t one missed wipe-round before check-in. It felt like the cumulative effect of a busy year without enough deep cleaning, maintenance or refreshing in between guests. Carpets, walls, cupboards, towels and various surfaces were marked or grubby, kitchen items needed cleaning before use, and I spent around two hours cleaning on arrival when I should have been unpa...more
