A fun, quirky house that is well set up for two families. The cottage feels like it's been in a time warp until recently, the 'other worldly' feeling is charming, eccentric and genuine - there's still a bomb-shelter in the garden. Beach 1.5km walk across the fields. Dogs welcome.

We had a lovely Easter weekend in Two Sides cottage which is in a very quiet village and not far from Lymington. The cottage has everything to keep all ages happy with lots of activity around the area from walks, pubs , crazy golf and the sights of lymington at the door step.
Two families reunited after a few years apart at Two sides cottage where we absolutely loved our stay catching up and reminiscing in a homely space .

Great property well equipped with plenty of room for our party of 10. Great location to explore the Nee Forest and surrounding areas.

8 of us stayed to celebrate 3 birthdays. Perfect size and great location for going out. A quirky cottage no doubt as it is 2 converted into 1. Can’t find any real faults although upstairs shower not the most powerful. Equipped with everything you need for a stay. Would recommend.

Lovely quirky cottage, very cosy and convenient for our niece's wedding. The children had great fun playing with the wooden toys and dressing up clothes the next day. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the surrounding area.

Lovely cottage which suited our three-generation family perfectly. Kitchen very well equipped, great amount of outdoor space for children and dog, sitting room a bit small (but accurately described), beds very comfortable. 5 year old loved doing “circuits” of ground floor!

We took our three-generation family (ages 9 to 79) for the long Coronation week end and all loved exploring this eccentric and characterful space. Highlights were the twin staircases, large kitchen diner and a lawn large enough for informal games. All bedrooms were fairly roomy, plus a range of bathroom options.
If you like bland five-star perfection then this is not for you... but if you want something a bit quirky and unusual, combined with a fair degree of modern comfort and the odd hiccough, then this place really does offer something special.

A good week away over Easter with the whole family. 6 adults and the dog.
Great location as we were 20 mins from most places.
Cottage is great whosever garden is not dog proof so be aware!
Kitchen and oven are great, beds are comfortable and we overcame the central heating issue after a few chilly nights!
All in all good value and great location. East End Arms pub is awesome and 20 mins walk!

Great customer service from New Forest Breaks. Well organised arrival details.
We all enjoyed a family break with dogs in this cosy cottage. From great grandma to 2yr old, we had a fabulous time.
The cottage is well equipped and little touches like children's toys, and dog bowls etc...were much appreciated.
It is quirky, and we all loved the layout which worked well for our family group.
It's location is perfect, near to Lymington and lots of local attractions and walks.
Yes, it's not super smart, and some of the furnishings are a little tired and worn, but we really enjoyed our stay and these things did not bother us at all.

Lovely cottage. Great time had by all. No complaints at all.
Only suggestion would be for the toaster to be changed from a two sliced to a four sliced one.

Very well equipped, comfortable and quirky property. Excellent location with ample parking and fantastic sized garden. Very accurate description in the listing. We were 2 families so to have 2 separate sleeping quarters was just perfect! Fantastic long weekend away!

An excellent stay: first class team at New Forest Escapes.

We had a fantastic stay in Two Sides Cottage. The description and details were honest and accurate and so there were no unwelcome surprises. It really was a comfortable and homely feeling house and with a great garden for the dogs too.

Two Sides is a charming cottage in a good location for exploring the New Forest. It's cosy, clean and very well equipped. One of the downsides of rented accommodation is usually always the kitchen, which is never well enough stocked, but this is brilliantly kitted out with pretty much everything you could possibly need, and a big table that seats 10 comfortably.

The only slight downsides are the living room, which is rather small for 10, so you can't all be comfortably in there at once, and the second bathroom/shower, which is downstairs and requires a walk through a kitchen and drafty utility room. So, probably a better summer rental than winter. Beds are also very soft and soggy. Otherwise great. The master bedrooms are especially big and comfortable.
