It was ‘Wow’ as soon as we walked through the door. This house has been very professionally designed inside and out. The ‘RalphLauren’ style courtyard was stunning. We almost lived out there in the shaded sun.
(And I’m a garden designer!).
The Kitchen Diner could host 10 comfortably to impress your friends for lunch. We only used one bedroom but the bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage and a super bathroom.
Locally, everything was just a short walk away. Trains are easy to catch for days out, as is the Wightlink ferry service to the Isle of Wight.
If we were 30 years younger we would love to use Solent Place again and again, but the steep stairs are a concern for us.

A beautifully designed home with everything you need for a happy family holiday. Great location, minutes from the high street, marina, station and salt water baths. The most comfy beds with super soft bedlinen! Thank you.

The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Lymmington itself was weird chip shop restaurant that doesn’t open ice cream shop that closes at 4.00pm and a harbour you cannot walk around !

Lovely house in a good location. Close to Lymington Quay and the New Forest. Great area for walks and cycling. We will come again!

We (6 family members + baby) found Solent Place super clean and very well equipped (save for a microwave). Everything needed for a comfortable holiday with thoughtful additions such as kitchen & cleaning supplies. Everything worked (showers/heating etc) and when there were a couple of (minor) issues the property manager was on hand to discuss and address. In fact, the property appeared as new! The parking space is actually fine even for a larger vehicle and the location is perfect whether the weather is good or not so. We hope to return. Kind Regards.
