Little Nye is the annex to Nye Creek and the two can be combined for the ultimate celebration stay... Come here for vitamin sea - there's a wonderful mix of coastal cool & countryside charm! Enjoy a secluded end-of-track location; within wandering distance of everything... 2 mins to Keyhaven & 10 minutes to the beach & buzzy village!

Situated just a 5 minute walk from Keyhaven marina and the start of the trails around Keyhaven and Pennington Marsh, Little Nye is in a wonderful, and convenient, location.
Simple, yet comfortable, furnishings make this a cosy bolthole at the end of a long day hiking or birdwatching.

Perfect for a couple, or when travelling solo, Little Nye is in a safe neighbourhood.

The full size hob/oven and decent-sized fridge with small icebox make it easy to prepare your own meals, as I did. There is even a clothes washing machine if needed.

To make the best use of space there is a foldaway dining table and chair set, which was very easy to set up.

A small decking area outside is perfect for a morning cuppa to start the day.

A welcome pack of milk and cakes, with tea and coffee in the cupboard, was appreciated.
I had mentioned that I don’t drink dairy and am vegetarian, and my welcome pack thoughtfully included almond milk and vegan-suitable cakes.

I very much enjoyed my two-night stay and plan to return in the future.

House very nice with everything you would need, perfectly clean and well presented! We visited Hurst castle and the new forest and had a great time!

i needed a quiet space to deeply rest, and i got just that. perfect location, beautiful sunrises, clean and cosy. very grateful for my stay

We love Keyhaven anyway and often stay in the area.
The pub is AMAZING. And Keyhaven in just ideal for everything.
The property is small but perfectly formed.
It has everything you could need for a few days away.
Private parking space, located down a very quiet private road.
It’s light and airy and well laid out.
We didn’t really use the kitchen but it’s got everything you need.
The shower takes some getting used to… the water pressure is high and it can literally turn the bathroom into a wet room.
I would definitely recommend this property and booking through New Forest Retreats

If you are looking for a coastal stay, the location of this accommodation is perfect. It’s a couple of minutes on foot to get to the water, and a short drive from to the New Forest. The interior is beautifully finished, and we appreciated how much thought has gone into making a small space feel spacious.
A couple of points to make: the term ‘annexe’ and the photos listed are misleading. This is a converted garage attached to a larger property. This meant that you are very much ‘sharing space’ with those renting the larger house (and sound insulation between the larger house and this listing is non-existent…) This is not made clear, even in the ‘home truths’ section of this listing. This is what makes the property less value for money than we originally thought when we booked. The photographs do not show how the door between the small bathroom and small kitchen cannot be closed properly (there’s no door handle, so the door can only be closed if you put something in front of it). Finally, there were a disconcerting amount of strongly scented candles and incense sticks throughout; I usually like scented goods, but this was too much even for me!
To conclude, the language the advert uses needs to be clearer (/more honest) regarding the nature of this property, and at the very least the lack of a bathroom door needs to be remedied.
That being said, the location of the property goes a long way to make up for these shortfalls, as does the decor.

Gorgeous little hideaway. The location is perfect. The cleanliness, comfort and decor was great. An ideal place for a couples weekend away

We enjoyed our stay at Little Nye. Everything was clean in the apartment. The only downside was the next door house's garden was right in front of Little Nyes garden so when they were using the hot tub it was so noisy we couldn't use our garden or leave the doors open.
