A great place to stay for a break on the coast. The house was comfy and clean and has a great garden. We did find that the hot water ran out quite quickly but easy enough to boost. A 10-15 minute stroll into Lymington with the lovely shops and cafes. We also had a lovely meal at the Kings Head pub. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful house within a short walking distance to the town. Takes about 7 or 8 minutes to get to the beginning of the High Street. We only had the one car but there was easily room for 2 more on the drive. Everywhere is immaculate. The kitchen is really big and extremely well stocked with all the kitchen utensils and cookware you could need. Very comfortable throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a lovely spacious house for the five of us and we would be very happy to return. The garden was also great though we didn’t make as much use of it as we would in the summer time. The kitchen is very well equipped and we spent most of our time in the kitchen diner. It’s about an15/20 min walk to shops and station, a bit further for the water. Staff at New Forest Escapes were really helpful and accommodating when we needed to make a change to the booking due to rail issues. Thank you so much for a great stay.

A fantastic house- beautifully done up! Really modern and stylish. It is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen especially impressed me and the hosts were so kind in leaving us some treats. Gorgeous garden and fun trampoline and other games for the children. Beds all really comfy and showers are top quality.

After looking at many sites and different types of property I kept going back to this one. Very happy with my decision as were my family( 4 adults) booking was simple and the information supplied was the best we have received in all the years we have rented holiday homes in the UK,ie directions, places to eat ,bike hire etc, had a couple of questions which the lovely friendly staff in the office(via phone) were more than efficient in answering,it was like talking to someone you had known for years. The property itself was as the pictures, very well equipped,lovely garden, comfortable beds, when we did have a slight issue with one of the showers the lovely Yvonne couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and came out a short while later and the small issue was fixed,only a 10 min walk into the high street and with lovely shops and pubs/ restaurants.The property was down a side road of a fairly busy road,please don’t let that put you of ,the road itself was quiet and was lovely and peaceful sitting outside in the garden in the day and evening,I would definitely recommend this property.

What a beautiful house, Uber stylish and tasteful. Kitchen is really well and generously equipped. Easy walk to Lymington and the Marina.
Yvonne was so responsive and helpful when we had a slight problem and resolved all for us.
Lots of lovely activities - our favourite was a day trip to the Isle of Wight.

We are a family of four adults and enjoyed a perfect week's holiday at Fair Winds. The house itself is situated in an excellent location: a manageable, flat walk to the main streets and attractions, but far enough away to enjoy the benefits of being a large house in a peaceful location with a substantial garden. We holiday frequently in the UK and always choose a "luxury-but-practical " property, but this house surpassed all our expectations. The house itself was immaculate, bright and spacious. It was comfortably and stylishly furnished, had high quality appliances, and contained everything you could possibly need to make it a home from home - even down to stationery items and treats for the dog (thank you from Kipper!). The garden was securely enclosed - perfect for our mad mutt, who had the time of his life running around and finding all the new smells - and it was a delight to relax outside on the comfortable garden furniture. Even at the odd times when it rained, the kitchen diner was a great place to sit and enjoy the garden through the expansive wall of glass. The owners really have thought of everything, which made it for the perfect holiday for us.

We had a fantastic time at Fair Winds - perfectly placed for exploring Lymington. The house itself was luxurious, especially the kitchen / dining area and its large windows onto the garden.

Small things made a big difference - the good amount of cookware, the board games and the coloured lighting in the living room.

We will certainly be using New Forest Escapes again!

We had a wonderful week in June at this beautiful property which is very well equipped and in a quiet location. There are three pubs within easy walking distance and the High Street is just a little further on. The house is decorated tastefully and is very comfortable. There is a large outdoor dining area and garden with comfortable garden furniture and a flat lawned area that our dog particularly enjoyed. As we had very warm weather, we didn’t stay indoors much at all. There’s a trampoline, goals and basketball hoop for children too. The information at booking and the photographs were an accurate representation of the property and we were very happy to have chosen it. It made a great base to explore the surrounding areas too.

The house was offered everything we wanted for this stay. We loved the large garden and the sun shone everyday for us which was amazing as the forecast had not been very positive!
The house is light and bright and has been very tastefully decorated and the kitchen provided everything we needed. My husband is a keen cook and he commented on this.
This is a home not just a rental property and we will return!

We had a gorgeous weeks stay at Fairwinds. Lots of room for the 3 generations of my family - kitchen diner is huge and lots of equipment as well as storage. Outside area is beautiful and the kids loved the trampoline, huge bonus. It’s also a brilliant sun trap if you’re lucky enough to catch some sun! Bedrooms all a really good size, especially the master suite with loads of storage to boot! Lounge area is a little on the small dude compared to the rest of the house, but we spent most of our time out or in the kitchen so this wasn’t a problem!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Fair Winds. We needed somewhere urgently as we are having renovations done and have dogs. It pretty difficult to find somewhere to accommodate and Fair Winds did the job. The garden was secure. The downstairs is fully tiled, which is great for dogs, and they loved the underfloor heating!

The house was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed (loved the Quooker tap and now making my husband buy us one!). The kitchen was brimming with every utensil and was a real home from home.

I was expecting to be a bit nearer the New Forest. In my head I thought I would be able to walk the dogs to the forest but it was definitely a car ride away. No fault of the owners as I should of checked the location a bit more but this is honestly the only thing I would of changed and that was my fault!

If you are thinking of staying....do it!! You will not be disappointed.

The house was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, well equipped and only a short walk from Lymington town centre. The minute you walk into Fair Winds, you realize it isn't just an ordinary house. From the amazing open-plan kitchen/dining room with huge sliding doors to the terrace, to the excellent showers upstairs, the whole place is luxurious. The kitchen, in particular is well appointed and a joy to work in.

The proximity to Lymington town centre is also a massive bonus. Being able to walk into town in under half an hour is definitely great, particularly with the Saturday market on every week.

In all, our three months at Fair Winds has been brilliant.
