This house is beautiful, spacious and has all the facilities you can hope for. Lovely location and views across the harbour. Easy walk to the Lymington High Street.
However, couches had stains on them resulting in us using the throws to cover them. The hot-tub was only available for an extra charge which was not indicated upfront. I stated we didn’t need a cot but one was made up and left in one of the bedrooms taking up space, fortunately we were able to move it into another room. The property particulars specified things like how to maintain the hot-tub and to top-up with chlorine but not where we could find the chlorine to add to it. We stayed 8 nights but we’re only given 7 dishwasher tablets! Very few washing machine pods (fortunately we had bought our own). None of the extractor fans were working in any of the bathrooms and one doesn’t even have a window that could be opened to let the steam out. Traffic noise was very heavy at times and the double glazing didn’t work very well. The wind was whistling through one of the lounge windows! The main bathroom window’s frame is rotting. The BBQ was filthy and needed cleaning before we used it!
There was also a putrid smell coming through the downstairs of the house and we couldn’t workout if there is a sewage issue or it was coming from the river!

Spacious property in an ideal location, near to Lymington town centre. Lovely views to a large garden and out to the water. You are able to hear the road when sat in living room but we got used to that during the stay. Kitchen well stocked so we were able to cook in the evenings.
Some of the interior could do with a freshen up like the sofa in the living room which had lots of marks.

We were disappointed to arrive to a note telling us the house alarm had low battery and if it beeped to enter a code. This happened 3 times during our stay, once during the night. I would have appreciated a call about this prior and ideally for this to be fixed prior/during our stay. The extractor fan in main bedroom also appeared to not work and one of the showers couldn’t be used due to difficulty getting the right temperature which we were made aware of but again would ideally be sorted sooner rather than later.

We had a great stay at Harbour view during Oct-24 half term. The place itself has a lovely layout and is a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of Lymington. If you're looking for dinner we had a great meal at the Ship Inn

On the whole Harbour View is a lovely property. My only criticism is it doesn’t lend itself to family living in as much as being an upside down house the noise at night from guests just walking on wooden floors carry’s down to bedrooms where younger members of the family are trying to sleep. Also you almost have to whisper for same reason .. we were not able to have tv on at night because of sound travelling. Wooden floors and all open plan upstairs doesn’t work early in morning for same reasons when parents are then trying to keep toddlers quiet whilst some of the adults trying to sleep. Jon the maintenance man was quick to help sort one or two issues promptly. It was lovely to be able to walk into Lymington to all the lovely shops, restaurants etc.

Great location. Property was clean and tidy and nicely presented. Garden beautiful. Excellent supply of glasses and china. Nice bedding although most pillows were too hard. Downstairs bath took a long time to fill and the upstairs shower ran either too hot or too cold so could do with looking at. Other en-suites were good with plenty of hot water. We didn’t use the hot tub and wish we had the option not to pay for this facility. Gave 4/5 for cleanliness as noticed cobwebs in velux windows. Also in parts property could do with some attention re damaged paintwork and cracks. Overall though a good property and would recommend

Enjoyed a wonderful week in the New Forest and could not have stayed at a more wonderful home. A beautiful upside down house so you get all the views and light in the top floor and direct access to the lovely garden. Everything has been thought of and the quality of fixtures and fittings is great. Very comfortable beds. The kids play room in the attic with PS4 and dozens upon dozens of board games was a very nice touch. All in all a 10 out of 10 - just wish we had a posh boat to park up on the house’s own launch! Excellent service and response time from the team too when we had a few questions on arrival. Thanks!

Lovely House in a great location just over the bridge in lymington, lots of lovely restaurants & pubs nearby & all dog friendly.
Harbour View itself needs a little attention as when windy the windows upstairs let a lot of cold air in , could do with replacing with upvc windows as you can feel the wind .
Overall though a great property

A beautiful property fitted out to the highest degree. The kitchen dining area is a fabulous place to relax. We were in the property early in December so could not really avail of the lovely garden and balcony. Walking distance to the town centre. Unfortunately there was a glitch with the heating system and consequently the bedrooms were too hot for comfort. The noise from the road meant we could not open bedroom windows to cool down. When we contacted the NFE representative she was unwell and so with trial and error we were able to sort the heating. We would recommend the property to others but with them having prior knowledge of the noisy road and the expectation the heating was working correctly.

We very much enjoyed our family break, and the house was well equipped throughout. Lovely views over the river. The location was great, walking distance to town and lots of eateries. A short drive to some stunning walks in the new forest. Also close to 2 stations. Being October we didn’t use the water access.
There were some issues with the hot tub which couldn’t be fixed despite us trying to troubleshoot so that was disappointing.

Lovely place , good location
Very comfortable and a great social space for a group .
Very clean and well stocked .
Lovely outside space , would just need to be aware that the living space is upstairs and although stair gates provided small children would need to be watched carefully.
