Haven House is located ‘South of the High Street’. This area is considered Lymington’s residential hot spot: leafy lanes of individual homes that are an attractive hotch potch of architectural styles. Haven House is a classic 1930s family home complete with porch, bay windows and features such as Art Deco influenced panelled doors, and picture rails. Dog friendly.

When families get together it’s so good to have the space to do things separately as well as together.
Here we could have four different things going on at once with plenty of room. Especially good in the heat.
The annex is great to have a separate space but quite cramped by being self contained.

Haven house is a beautiful holiday home, well thought-out and scrupulously clean. Plenty of cleaning, laundry and washing-up consumables were provided. As a family group that included a young couple, we appreciated them being able to have the privacy of the separate annexe. We visited during a hot week in July, and the kitchen ceiling fan was an added bonus that kept the kitchen and living space a comfortable temperature - very effective in combination with the Velux roof windows. Upright fans were also provided in all bedrooms.

When I received the details of Haven House I was a little worried as it was on the road and I am used to being in the countryside. I need not have worried it was so very peaceful and a fabulous base for exploring the New Forest. It was wonderful to be able to take a walk into Lymington or down to the Quayside and this is what really made our stay and we could reach the forest and the beaches by taking very short car rides.
The accommodation was lovely and it had everything we needed, a large house that is just the thing for extended families. Sadly it will probably be to big for our future holidays but we will be returning to Lymington as soon as we can.
