Moo cottage (and annexe) is in a very pretty remote condition. Gardens and house were nice and modern but could do with a deep clean, tidy up and some gardening. Property was just starting to look a little tired.
Was just in need of a clean to remove bugs (which you do get being rural and near a farm), a weed and tidy up in the garden to prune some overgrown plants near table and some fixing works to loose pavers and bricks.
Overall was nice but bed downstairs too soft and duvet was far too thick for summer use. Bins outside were full (not big enough) of previous guests rubbish as was glass recycling. TV signal was also non existent.

The tranquility and comfort of this isolated property surpasses every other one we have hired in the New Forest over several years.
To avoid much car travelling you need to be organised with your logistics, but if rural is your bag, this is for you.
All this is coupled with all the natural beauty of the area.

Stayed at Moo Cottage with a couple of friends. The property is in a very tranquil location apart from there was a wedding at the Art Gallery down the road on the Saturday. The music didn't stop until 1am. We hadn't been informed beforehand which would have been courteous as it belongs to the same people. It is very tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. We loved observing the guinea fowl. We suggested a few very minor things for improvements. Would recommend staying here.

This beautiful renovated cottage is located in a beautiful part of the New Forest surrounded by stunning views.The accommodation had everything that we needed and we felt surpassed the description and photos on the website. We had glorious weather, a wonderful stay and hope to re-visit in the not too distant future

We all stayed here Christmas week with our son and daughter in law plus the three grand children plus three dogs ! .... Both main and the separate annex were finished to a high standard and were in very good condition and well heated, loved the beds plus the bath and shower rooms, all very modern and smart ....the huge annex was a godsend and allowed Mum, Dad plus us grandparents a little bit of space and privacy when needed .... Lots of local artworks adorn the wall in all rooms and this was a nice touch ... Very private location that overlooks the river estuary and we were surprised by how quite it was here, the silence at night I have not heard many times before anywhere in the world .... great local attractions including the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, the New Forest and it's horses and donkeys roaming wild brought a smile to all our faces .... Nearest pub, shops and the beach are a short drive away so a car is a must unless you prefer to walk or cycle and we will definitely return to this area again soon as so much more to see locally and in the surrounding areas ....M&G

The property was amazing. Loads of space and having 3 beds, 3 bathrooms works great for sharing. The beds were very comfortable and luxury having feather duvets. The sofas were quite low so not as accessible for the less mobile. The art work was a great addition, but a little concern with children around, glad we didn't bring the dog.
The kitchen was well stocked apart from tea towels, so make sure you take some, didn't always want to use dishwasher.
One addition would be to add a blind to to door on the annexe, showering and dressing slightly exposed (haha!)
Location was perfect for exploring the area, Exbury gardens wonderful. Views great from all around especially on balcony.
