Beautiful house in peaceful location. Probably the best and cleanest holiday house we have ever stayed in, and we have been to quite a few!
Everything from the beds, to kitchen equipment and even a Sky Q system ( never seen that in any holiday let) was perfect. The decor was stylish, bathrooms luxurious and outside space extremely well done. The swim-spa was excellent fun!
Some of our party stayed on for a few extra days, and the service from new forest escapes to sort this out efficient and fast.
I would not hesitate to recommend Moonwood house.

A beautiful very well appointed house immaculately presented. Extremely comfortable especially the beds with luxurious bathrooms. The big kitchen has everything you need to cook wonderful meals. The weather was cold and stormy but the house was warm. The situation is great with plenty of local walks but also in the heart of the forest. Highly recommended!!!

We booked Moonwood for a week to celebrate my husband's birthday and Christmas with our family.
It is a beautiful house in a peaceful setting. So often, holiday homes have minimal equipment in the kitchen and cheap utensils, but the kitchen here was so well equipped. There was everything you could want; sharp knives, plenty of cutlery and crockery and a marvellous range of serving dishes. The 2 ovens were particularly useful for cooking a Christmas dinner and it was a pleasure to cook there. In fact everything about the house was quality; the bedding, the towels, the bathrooms - it was lovely.
We paid the extra for the hot tub, which we made good use of. It was lovely and warm and the jets were vigorous and fun. We also paid to have logs for the log burner, but the house was so warm that we didn't use them.
The price over Christmas was more expensive, as you'd expect, nevertheless that is why I gave it 4 out of 5 for value for money.
New Forest gave us excellent instructions and were very helpful in helping us prepare for our holiday also the Christmas cake was a nice surprise.

The most wonderful place to stay with my family. It was luxurious, cosy and homely. We were so lucky with the weather and ate all our meals bar one outside. The animals roaming the streets in Beaulieu were a delight to see (even if they did stop the traffic!). We ventured to Lymington and over to The Hut on the IOW - a truly fabulous experience and then back to the hot tub at Moonwood. I couldn’t have hoped for more!

Amazing house, very stylish but homely, incredibly spacious, Outdoor area perfect for all ages , beautifully manicured garden, swim
spa lots of fun. Kitchen very well equipped, ideal for a large family. Bedrooms stunning, beds very comfortable, with lovely linen.

Our stay at Moonwood house was very good and it remains on my shortlist of places to stay in the future. While we were only a 3 person group staying there, the house could easily have up to 10 people staying with all the spare space. The linens, towels, cleanliness, etc., were all the kind of standard you get at a good 5* hotel.
My only gripe is a personal preference. While the beds were very comfortable, I would have liked a much firmer mattress to avoid back pain.

Lovely house in tranquil setting. Beautifully decorated and equipped as a home! Bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds. Has everything you need! Pizza oven is always fun. Garden is perfect area for kids to play and it’s a sun trap. Absolutely recommend for family get together. Our second visit and we look forward to the next.

A wonderful stay at Moonwood . Stunning decor and perfectly equipped . With two elderly and infirm parents we chose the perfect place for them to relax and be pampered and enjoy the fire and the dining table full of 3 generations . Beds and bedding were first class , wish we could have seen the garden in full bloom but just meeting the gardener was a real treat . So happy we made this happen and made the precious memories in such a special place . Truly hope to return soon

We enjoyed a multi generational long weekend at Moon Wood and had a wonderful time notwithstanding the weather. The house was warm and welcoming and had everything we needed. When we encountered a problem with the WiFi the team did their best to try and resolve the issue. Would we go again? Definitely.

Moonwood House is a perfect house and location for a familly get together, recommended to us by New Forest Escapes.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a quality house in good location in the New Forest. Everything you may need , including pizza oven and barbecue is provided. So well equipped with quality goods and equipment.
The spa pool is a great attraction, garden and house exactly as shown on details , all rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished.
Very few properties come up to expectations and are rarely as nice as shown , but Moonwood House exceeded our expectations in every way.
We highly recommend this property.

I would highly recommend this property. From the moment we stepped inside we could see a lot of care, love and attention had gone into making this a truly enjoyable break for visitors. The decor and facilities were second to none. The bed linen, towels and kitchen equipment were of a good quality and clean. There was also the opportunity to use a BBQ. We visited it as a 3 generational family and it catered for everyone's needs. Toddlers were catered for with travel cots, toilet seats, high chairs and toys. We were kept fully informed by New Forest Escapes with all the necessary information to make our holiday relaxing and enjoyable, including recommendations for local places of interest. They were always at the end of the phone if we had an queries. When we arrived there were welcome treats and drink in the fridge with a well stocked larder. The garden and hot tub were an added bonus that kept the children and adults entertained. The owners should be proud of their achievements in offering such a beautiful property for others to enjoy.

Moonhill House is beautiful. Well equipped and looks exactly like pictures. Everything looks very new and clearly of excellent quality. Kitchen is amazing family/entertaining space. Living room is elegant yet cosy, tv room perfect. Bbq and pizza oven a further dimension. Bedrooms are all very comfortable and en suites are modern and new. The gardens are a delight. Huge lawn, pretty flower beds and the swim spa great fun. Completely private and tranquil. Fully fenced. I would recommend to anyone. Cannot wait to return
