Staying at on the Rocks gives you direct access to the sea; just pop through your private gate & dip your toes in! Head to the buzzy village - this really is the good life. Dog friendly

Great location and close to all NF amenities. Would go again to the NF but a different location maybe further in land to the wildlife and small towns and villages

I found the whole experience from booking through to the confirmation of my booking super easy and staff were extremely helpful.

I booked on the Rocks as it seemed ideal to bring my not-so mobile mother too as the living accommodation is all on one floor. Overall it was a perfect stay although I would recommend that Tess and David consider making their lovely home a bit more friendly to the elderly. We were kindly given access to the house through the back door, this was critical as my mother could never have managed the steep steps into the house from the front door. That said, it would be very helpful and safer if rails could be put on either side of the four steps leading up to the property at the back door.

My 84 year old mother actually fell in the shower in the on-suite bathroom as the shower tray surface is non slip and the circular non slip mat provided was tiny. Quite miraculously she was just badly bruised and thank goodness didn't break anything! Claire from the management company was brilliant and immediately sourced a full length mat. Thank you Claire you really were so kind.

We stayed at 9On the rocks to celebrate my 60th birthday and Mother’s Day. It could not have been more perfect. Location superb, facilities superb. It was just WOW! I had the biggest smile on my face all weekend. With grown up children and their partners there was plenty of room and what can I say about that view, just stunning. I’ve already recommended it to all my friends.

We had a nice stay and the house had everything we needed and lots of space. Easy walk to the village with pretty much everything we needed but a torch is needed in the evening- and there were torches provided.
Good shower and bath facilities, even better if larger towels or robes were provided- 2 smallish towels for a week is not enough.

The house is wonderful. Spacious and perfect for a family celebration. Everything possible we could need.

Access to the front is super easy and we loved our walks everyday.

Village was super close too.

The team at NFE were super helpful throughout, a breath of fresh air.

We all had a a fab time.

We had a great long weekend staying in on the rocks. The views are beautiful and there are great walks along the coast. The house is really comfortable to stay on and is well equipped. The kids had lots of fun in the games room.

We stayed here with our kids and grandkids as a 3 generation family. The house exceeded expectations with every possible thing provided that you could possibly need. A real home from home. The location is fantastic and the view from the garden and every room is surely unrivalled.
The kids had a great time flying kites from the area immediately outside, throwing stones in the sea and riding their bikes along the coastal path.
Milford is unspoiled by some of the over commercialised tourist effects of the larger seaside resorts and we thought it was a lovely place and on that we will definitely return to in the future.
New Forest Escapes were very responsive and helpful with any questions that we had and weee excellent to deal with.
In the words of our 5year old grandson.. Best Holiday Ever!

Beautiful house with incredible views of the sea and The Needles in the Isle of Wight. Whilst you can walk to a beach, all are shingle and very steep steps down, not ideal for dogs and/or young children. If you’re looking for sandy beaches with a flat/easy walk down, need to drive closer to Bournemouth.

This is an excellent property for a family holiday with good parking, a games room and loverly views.
