We have just stayed at Surrey Lodge for a long weekend, we had the most incredible time. The house is so beautiful and comfortable and the location is just perfect, there’s is nothing we would change and would definitely love to return!

A great stay in the New Forest at the wonderful 'Surrey Lodge'. Location was perfect and there was plenty of room for all the family. Really enjoyed and would happily return.

Surrey lodge is a very comfortable, well equipped house in a great location. We stayed in the autumn but it must be beautiful in the summer too.

This house has a lovely view from the drawing room. Beautifully clean everywhere with huge duvets and spacious kitchen. It is a little under-bathroomed for eight but we would return gladly and bring our family to make a party of six. Excellent and interesting location but quiet and secure. The EV charger was a boon. We enjoyed our stay unreservedly.

There was a covering of dust behind one of the beds and the child’s welcome pack was not there other than that the property was perfect.

Took close family trip into the New Forest and really valued the location with such direct access to the Forest and the ease of access to Brockenhurst and its good range of shops and facilities. With eight of us staying the house felt spacious although the fourth bedroom is smaller and so the people sharing this need to be aware of this as the twin beds are close together. All the beds are comfortable. The downstairs living space was excellent and well stocked and the bifolding doors to the outside are great in fine weather.
We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Staying at Surrey Lodge felt like a proper treat and we cannot wait to return. Everything has been thought of and the house is beautifully designed and equipped. Our extended family of all ages enjoyed a wonderful few days' stay and everyone felt very at home. We especially loved sitting on the front bench watching the world go by, and all the jigsaws and garden games. Thank you!

This was our second stay at the lovely Surrey Lodge and we absolutely loved it. It has the best location with all the animals walking outside, perfect for blackberry picking and watching beautiful sunsets. The house itself is clean, and spacious and well appointed. The contact between us and NFE was great. We look forward to coming back again next year.

Wonderful location, with great light and spacious living areas, beautifully renovated whilst leaving lots of character. Bike store & drying room is a huge plus as well as the garden and the location is stunning. Watching the evening sun set across the park with ponies trotting past is pretty special. House is well equipped & it provided a great holiday home for us. Our only issue was a broken mattress in one of the bedrooms which we were assured would be dealt with for the next guests.

We all loved it especially the children for pony and donkey watching. Excellent location for all activities.

Not a complaint but a suggestion, we hit a very hot week and bedrooms were stifling, also duvets very thick, so had to take out and just use the duvet covers, perhaps lighter duvets for the summer.

This has easily been the best experience we have had with a Cottage Booking both from the Service received from New Forest Escapes and from the actual Cottage itself. New Forest Escapes were incredibly helpful with our initial booking and quickly helped to ensure that we actually booked exactly what we were looking for. The Cottage itself is in a beautiful location in a lovely part of the New Forest. Four ladies looking for a relaxing and fun break are very happy and even the weather delivered!

We loved our stay at Surrey Lodge. The property was tastefully done up, the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, the outdoor areas were lush, the indoor areas were warm, the resident cat was a delight! Thank you for a memorable stay

Wonderful stay with friends in this beautiful house. Surrey Lodge is stylish and comfortable with superb views of the New Forest at the front. Walks straight from the front door and walking distance to the shops and pubs of Brockenhust. The house has very comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. Would highly recommend. We booked with New Forest Escapes who were very helpful and efficient.

Spacious, comfortable, well equipped house in a brilliant location. Great to wake up to horses wandering past the house most mornings. and very accessible for most of the New Forest and Lymington / Milford. Great customer service. Would thoroughly recommend and will book again next time we visit the New Forest

Family stay at Surrey Lodge to celebrate my 60th birthday, including my 2.5 year old granddaughter. The house is beautiful! Light and spacious, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The owners have thought of everything we could have needed. So comfortable and child friendly. The location is wonderful with beautiful views across the heathland and ponies walking past. Close walking distance to village shops and pubs. I would 100% recommend a stay here!

This was our first trip to the New Forest and we couldn't have stayed in a better place. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for our multi generational family stay. The location was great, having both the village of Brockenhurst and the forest within walking distance.

Great house right on outskirts of Brockenhurst so a walk our straight into the forest. Beautiful walking and area on doorstep. Comfortable and well equipped house - ideal for 6-8.

Beautiful home in a fantastic location in Brockenhurst. The home was beautifully appointed and very comfortable for our visit. Lovely location in the New Forest, perfect for walks or strolling into Brockenhurst. The wild ponies walked right past the windows most days.

I am from the local area, however, rented Surrey lodge for some family to stay in, and for me and my bridal party to get ready in before my wedding.

Surrey lodge is such a beautiful, cosy and comfortable house. It had everything we needed and is perfectly laid out, it is so spacious, yet still so cosy. Everyone who stayed there/stepped foot in there commented on what a great find it was, and how lovely the house was. We all felt very sad when we checked out, and commented on how much we will miss it!

Not only was the house amazing, the customer service was incredible. We had a few minor issues (nothing that should put anyone off staying), and the team were so responsive, they sorted everything out on the same day with no fuss…we knew they were only a watsap/phone call away, and this was so reassuring.

I can’t recommend Surrey lodge enough. I kind of wish I wasn’t from the local area, so I could come and stay again!

We had a lovely time staying at Surrey Lodge. The space is fantastic and all very comfortable. Location right in the forest but easy walking distance to the village and train made it perfect location.
Only slight quibble- no weighing scales for cooking was a little testing!

Amazing location, no need to leave the village as has everything you need.
Lodge was very high spec and cleanliness.
Bit pricy but worth every penny, only thing I can moan about is they said there would be coal to get the bbq going but didn’t so had to take short bike ride to village to buy some but that’s me being very fussy as nothing to complain about.

Surrey Lodge is a beautiful house in the most wonderful location - close enough to the shops in Brockenhurst, and rural enough to look out the window straight on to the forest to see ponies, cows and donkeys and the most beautiful sunsets. The house is very clean, comfortable and well appointed and we had a really lovely time staying there. We as a family had a lovely stay there for 2 weeks and were very sad to leave. Of all the houses in the New Forest we’ve stayed in, this has certainly been our favourite and we can not wait to return. Our only tiny gripe about the house, is that the internet was very very slow and patchy which was a bit frustrating when trying to watch stuff in the evenings!

Brockenhurst is an excellent place to vist and this house on the edge of the village is a great place to stay. The house is well equipped, spotlessly clean and with great space upstairs and downstairs. The outlook from the property is onto the open new Forest land with horses, donkeys and cows regular visitors close by - the donkeys were eating the hedge whilst we were there. At the same time it is only 10 mins walk or 2 mins drive to the village with a great bakery, cafes, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. You can park easily in Tesco car park for 20 mins if you’re shopping there or in the pay and display opposite if you’re staying for longer.

It is a on a great location for walks and it’s a 15 mins walk into town.

It is a well layout house, excellent for a big family gathering. The kitchen has most things you need.

The quality of furnishing is excellent.

One bedroom has a boiler and it made a constant sound.

A couple of requests were unanswered. However, where they did, they have been accommodating.

I would highly recommend this lovely home to others.
