The Nest is a well presented property quite spacious for its size and well equipped. Situated in walking distance of the train station and the town we were able to explore the south coast by train, the forest by car and walking and the pubs in town without having to stay. An added touch was the ponies come right up the street

Very well designed property, everything you need. Loved the garden that surrounded the property. Perfect location for visiting the New Forest. Train into Lymington is a must. Can't wait to come back.

This is a lovely, beautifully decorated and comfy place. It was surprisingly spacious and bigger than the on-line pictures show. We appreciated the little touches of shower gel & soaps and the welcome pack for humans and dog. The Nest is perfectly located for easy walks, access to the railway station and the pubs and cafes in Brockenhurst. It’s worth noting that the Nest does have a slim line dishwasher which was a bonus as it isn’t mentioned in the description.
Only a couple of very small things - the rear gate to the property is very nearly impossible to open, clearly not used regularly. The reason is probably that the path behind the Nest is unusable due to stinging nettles etc (not the owner’s responsibility). The path way only runs behind other houses and doesn’t give any access to the Forest that you can’t achieve by walking into Brockenhurst by the road to the front of the house.
The Nest would benefit from a simple dustpan & brush as there is no way to clear up at all should you be unfortunate enough to spill something.
The satnav doesn’t take you directly to the Nest. The ‘what three words’ supplied in the arrival information wasn’t correct. Make sure you print off the directions as they are accurate and get you directly to the door.
New Forest Escapes were a delightful company to deal with. Excellent communication during the booking process and we would book again with them.
We would definitely recommend The Nest.

The Nest is ideally located 2 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the main street with lovely cafes and shops, and a mere stroll from any number of walking routes into the beautiful New Forest. The home is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. It is larger than it looks in the photos and has a beautiful garden sweeping around that can be shut off with a large gate. We had a dog with us so this was especially appreciated as he could roam free without risk of wandering off. The host provided lots of lovely little touches and even put up birthday decorations as I had mentioned I was bringing my mum for her birthday! Our stay was beyond our expectations and we will definitely return. I love visiting the New Forest and now I've got the perfect accommodation to return to each time. Thank you to the host and New Forest Escapes were wonderful in their communication and attentiveness.

Lovely short stay. Excellent location, walking distance of all Brockenhurst amenities and train to Lymington. Very comfortable and well presented.

We had a lovely stay and loved the nice touches such as milk in the fridge, wine and chocolate on the side.

We had such a lovely weekend staying at The Nest, and felt comfortable and at home right from arrival.

Everything we needed and more for relaxing with our books or a board game, and perfect location for exploring the new forest. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was great.

This is a gem! We loved our stay. Everything was thought through and taken care of. The owner was friendly and helpful, and we were given our space to just relax. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking n the fence. Do it, you won’t regret it

Had a wonderful few days in the Nest. Perfect location and it had everything we needed for our stay. Well equipped and spacious for a “small” property. Close to the centre of the village and local walks . Thanks for an excellent stay.

A lovely property in the heart of the New Forest. Ideal base for relaxing and exploring tue area! The Nest has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean, fresh and very close to the station (there’s a side gate at the station meaning you can walk in 1min - not the 10mins stated on Google maps!). Private location with a lovely garden for relaxing, but very close to the centre of the village for pubs, shops etc. Kristina the host was very welcoming and helpful. Recommended!

We had a wonderful 5 day break at this delightful hideaway in the middle of the New Forest, Ideally situated a mere 3 min walk from the station, everything you need is at hand. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay so relaxing and enjoyable., even down to providing a welcome pack for not only us but also our little dog.

The nest is a great place to stay, home comforts plus a lot more. Very convenient, welcoming host, perfect.

We loved the sunny enclosed garden which was wonderful for us and our dog to relax in after a day of exploring the New Forest. The Nest has so much on it’s doorstep and provided a great base. Katrina has thought of everything you may need, we were extremely comfortable and loved the welcome gifts on our arrival. We will be back!

The owner offers a warm welcome, the bungalow is beautifully furnished with lovely design touches. Comfortable for 2 for a break away from home but with all home comforts offered. The owner even offers welcoming gifts like wine, chocolate, coffee, tea and milk are provided, no need for a rush to the shops for the first breakfast.
The garden is secluded, and beautifully planted.
The location is perfect for exploring the New Forest and restaurants are on your doorstep for dinner.
The bike shed was a bonus for us, arriving with our Bikes, it was perfectly secure and under cover. The New Forest Cycle tracks are nearby.
We will certainly visit again and cherish the time we spent there.

We're exploring the UK and friends recommended we stay in Brockenhurst. We found The Nest online and the entire experience from initial booking, various queries, instructions for arrival and The Nest have been faultless. The Nest is discretely located at the rear of the property, is very private and easy walking distance to EVERYTHING in this gorgeous town.

The facilities at the Nest are comprehensive, the only missing element for us was a washing machine/dryer. But we found a service in town easily.

The Nest is spacious and comfortable. There are outdoor seating and a table (weather permitting). And sufficient space for our hire car which we have not moved since arriving.

Interesting shops, pubs and restaurants. A plethora of walking and cycling tracks. Our daughter came down from London on the train so easy access to that also.

We extended our stay!

Highly recommended.

We recently stayed at 'The Nest' in Brockenhurst and it was an absolute delight. It is a perfect getaway for anyone looking for a peaceful and tranquil retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the attention to detail and the cozy atmosphere of the place.

The annex itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed is super comfortable, and the living room is perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of exploring the New Forest. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making sure guests have everything they need during their stay.

Overall, I would highly recommend The Nest to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing retreat in the New Forest.
