Fabulous little bolthole for exploring the New Forest. Lovely and cosy inside and nicely furnished. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Great location with coffee shop opposite and cafe for cooked breakfast an short walk away.

We had a lovely stay in The Nook . The property is finished to a very high standard and very comfortable. The garden is lovely and I should imagine would be wonderful to use in the warmer weather .
Excellent walks straight from the door ,
The only moan we have it was so hot in the property it was uncomfortable. No instructions on how to turn the heating down .

On arrival there were a few issues, but they were easily resolved by the owner who was very responsive.

The property is lovely and in an excellent location. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace is lush. My only suggestion, and which is a personal bugbear, is that if you are leaving an arrival pack/gift (which I think is an absolute must for properties in these price ranges) use local suppliers. A pack of biscuits and California Rose from Lidl does not quite scream “New Forest” or “personal touch”.

When walked into the accommodation we couldn't believe the high standards everywhere. Luxury everywhere. Situated right in centre of a beautiful village with several bistros and pubs within walking distance. A beautiful walking trail goes by the accommodation onto the heathland full of ponies and not people. We cycled a few minutes up a quiet road and straight into a stunning off road forest trail. So peaceful. Locals are really helpful and often just just want to chat. A holiday in a different country.....can't wait to return.

Perfect location in the very centre of Burley, close to local amenities & New Forest walks. The Nook was clean, decorated to a high standard, and had all the household items you'd need. Would highly recommend a stay (and popping across to Noohn opposite for a great coffee!)

As it was Halloween, Burley was busy with witches and wizards. We hid ourselves away very easily in The Nook. Right in the middle of The New Forest with great walking and cycling to discover. The Nook is great; very clean and comfortable with everything you might need. My wife, who is a far better judge of these things, loved the layout and presentation of The Nook. Slightly on the dearer side but well worth it for the position and comfort.

The nook was fabulous for a few days back in the new forest. It’s beautiful decorated and has all the amenities and comforts you could need. Very private outdoor space a stone throw from burley village stores and pubs. Very clean, comfortable and stylish nook ..we loved it!

The Nook is such a wonderful place to stay to stay right in the centre of Burley. You couldn’t get a better location. The cottage is super stylish, comfortable & well equipped. We love everything about it. From the gorgeous furniture to the lovely sunny garden. The village has some great places to eat and it’s a great base to explore the beautiful area and the coast. This was our second stay & we will definitely return with our two westies Max & Teddy who also love their holidays at the Nook and have even got used to seeing the beautiful New Forest ponies wandering around.

This October myself, my partner and our dog stayed at this holiday cottage in the New Forest, and we can't recommend it enough. The cottage was impeccably clean, which is essential for us to enjoy our stay. The central village location served as a perfect base for exploring the stunning landscapes and trails of the New Forest, making it easy to venture out for walks and sightseeing.

One of the highlights was how dog-friendly the cottage was; our furry friend had a fantastic time exploring the surrounding area. The cozy interior made returning after a day of adventure a true pleasure, with comfortable furnishings and a warm atmosphere. The village has a lovely coffee shop and well stocked grocery shop with great pizza on a Friday night! If you're looking for a charming getaway that’s well-equipped for both humans and pets, this cottage is an excellent choice!

We had a wonderful few days staying at The Nook. Everything was just perfect from the location to the furnishings and overall cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed the beautiful garden in late afternoon enjoying a glass of wine. You can walk straight from your front door into the forest and walk for miles. Burley itself is very quaint and the coffee shop across the road sells the best coffee I have ever tasted.
Overall we had a lovely few days and I would thoroughly recommend The Nook.

Couldn’t fault the property, it is simply stunning. 5 Star. Beautifully decorated and ideal for a couple wanting to get away in a great location. You are right in the heart of a busy village with horses and cattle roaming free. Great walks out the back of the Nook with your 4 legged friends. Outside space is also excellent and very relaxing.

Only moan if I had one wasn’t actually to do with the property but the initial contact with NFE and costs. £250 security deposit is very high on top of what isn’t a cheap booking. Whilst I was assured this was a holding charge that money was actually taken for a few days. £50 PER DOG extra on top of the price and cleaning for humans is also very high for conscientious dog owners.

Left us feeling on edge even before our arrival in case anything happened and that money was retained. Whilst I would happily stay at this location again i would probably stick to AirBnb rather than going through NFE as I’m not even sure we saved money.

The Nook is conveniently placed for all the cafes and pubs in Burley however I would recommend going further afield for your evening meal. The Shappen cafe is great. The Nook is well furnished with quality linens and towels, why they say there is synthetic linens I’m not sure, I actually took cotton sheets but the sheets provided were beautiful. A handrail on the steps between the kitchen and living room would help to make it safer and the sofa and chair were very low, for this reason only we would not return but I’m sure that’s just because we are older.

This thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated little gem is in an ideal spot. Despite being located centrally in the village it is quiet and cosy and perfectly calm. There are New Forest walks literally from the door, a wonderful coffee shop opposite, and is steps to the nearest dog friendly pub. The village shop has all you need for a weekend, a great selection of local provisions, and homemade dog biscuits! A short drive takes you anywhere in the New Forest and the coast is not far either, which suited us brilliantly. The garden is wonderful and fully enclosed, so there was no need to worry about the dogs escaping, so everyone could relax. Everything possible had been thought about, lovely stylish details inside and out as well as practical things. There was even an outside hose for sandy/muddly paws! We would thoroughly recommend and hope to return soon.

We found The Nook to be cosy, comfortable and a relaxing place to wind down and just chill for a few days. The garden is a delight, and just the place to unwind after a day out. We enjoyed the central location; just on the edge of the forest with a path just outside the door that leads to the park. Parking was a bit fiddly, but handy, right outside the back gate. Would recommend to anyone for a relaxing break with all the facilities of home plus the garden.

We had such an amazing stay at The Nook and it was SO much better than we could’ve ever hoped.

The location was super central but also peaceful and quiet. Beautiful walks surrounding and driving past ponies on the way in was the cherry.

It had everything you would need and if not, there’s a small shop within a 1 minute walk.

The bed was so comfy, the shower was great and the wood burner was divine! I can imagine the outdoor area is beautiful during warmer seasons too and the bbq! We would definitely go back :)

An absolutely beautiful property nestled just in Burley. The Nook is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a wonderful stay. Fabulous amenities on your doorstep with cafes, bike hire and local convenience.

Absolutely loved The Nook. Super cozy with the log fire, and a wonderful enclosed garden which was great for the dogs. It’s a really comfortable bolt hole right in the middle of Burley with everything you need right on your doorstep. Some great walks too from literally right outside the front door. In a fabulous location, right on the edge of some lovely walks, 'The Nook' was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you might need. Personally, I would have preferred less clutter on the worktops. Knick knacks etc. I understand some guests appreciate half used oils, vinegars etc, I would prefer cupboards cleared between guests. Nevertheless, a fabulous little bolthole.

Location is perfectly tucked away in a charming village. There are direct paths to some really nice walking routes round the back.

decor/facilities have been done to a very high spec and felt luxurious.

We had an amazing weekend at The Nook. A beautiful property which has been done up to a very high standard. Very cosy yet modern. We really enjoyed the garden and made use of the BBQ in the sunshine. A perfect property for 2 people and we also had a baby and dog with us too. The location is amazing- so close to pubs, shops and cafes as well as the amazing New Forest walks on the doorstep. We will definitley be coming back again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Nook. What a find, a pet friendly cottage that is so stylish & comfortable? Our first visit to the new Forest and the Nook is perfectly located in the centre of Burley and a great base to explore the area. Cannot fault the property or our stay.

We loved our stay at the Nook and are already planning our next visit in Winter. We were really impressed with its location in the centre of Burley and the quality and cleanliness of the place. All amenities were as you'd expect and it felt like home away from home even after two nights. Rob and Alan were accommodating with our enquiries regarding the electric charging point even out of hours. Couldn't recommend enough!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Nook and did not want to leave.Prime position for the village and also direct access to the beautiful forest.
The property is stunning with everything you would need for a relaxing stay, could not fault a thing and would not hesitate to return.For me personally,I could take my dogs straight out onto the forest each morning and take in the breathtaking views!

What a beautiful place for a relaxing weekend. Wonderfully comfy, immaculately presented, superbly equipped and located in the perfect spot, both for forest walks and for trips to the pub(s) or the lovely Shappen Cafe. Really can't fault it.

The Nook was a sheer delight to stay in. Everything was brand new as it hadn’t been let for long. The design of everything was beautiful and very comfortable and showed a real attention to detail.

We book the Nook cottage because it was in an area that was central to the New Forest and to the coast . We found the Nook extremely comfortable for us and our pooch, close to shops and for eating out. I would highly recommend the Nook for its position, close to the new Forest , the coast and the cleanliness and comfort.

My wife and I, with our dog, had a comfortable stay, with everything you need in the Nook for a few days or even longer!

The Nook is in a great location in Burley, with excellent pubs and coffee shops nearby and the New Forest a short walk away.

The Nook is well equipped, with substantial outdoor space, and is nicely decorated. We made use of the outdoor space and the log burner during our stay. Would recommend to others!
