The East Wing is a stunning property located on Drumlanrig Castle’s doorstep. Featuring two double bedrooms and a sofa bed for a further two guests in the downstairs living room, it is a luxurious base to enjoy everything the Estate has to offer for up to 6 guests. Dogs welcome too.

We had an amazing time in our East Wing stay. The premises are clean, inviting, everything is catered for and if not then all you need to do is call and it’s there. We were a party of 5 adults and an infant and we had everything we needed and more. If you want a holiday away and have everything you need from home this is the place to stay - views are spectacular and people are welcoming

After a long journey from Brisbane, Australia, arriving at the East Wing for our holiday over Christmas was exactly what we needed. Everything we could have asked for was available; from a beautiful kitchen, large spacious and comfortable lounge to the gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms - it was all there and ready for us to enjoy - even the timber for the wood burning stove was there next to the stove! And to be able to enjoy some of the many walking trails around the castle was a great way to clear the head - enjoy the fresh Scottish winter weather and start to recharge our batteries after many hectic work months. We loved our time at the East Wing and would highly recommend this property to other travellers and holiday makers looking for a flexible, convenient and very comfortable place to stay in Dumfries & Galloway. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special xx

Extremely clean. Plenty of logs for the fire. Lovely Christmas tree and decorations. Left plenty of soap, dishwasher tablets etc. Someone has definitely thought everything out. Loved it as we always do.

We had a lovely time in this delightful place- both the cottage and the amazing surroundings.
We luxuriated in the cottage and felt very special.
A little point to note - it was very cold when we arrived and we couldn’t find anyone to help us put on the heating.
