A beautiful property in a stunning location suitable for all members of the family we stayed with our kids and parents and all had a lovely time five stars
It was a bit of an impulse booking, but I'm so glad that I took the plunge. The apartment is really comfortable, stylishly decorated (well, to my untutored eye!) and lacks for nothing. The kitchen is cosy, without being cramped and is well equipped; the lounge is not large, but quite sufficient for the dining table and a couple of really comfortable sofas; the bedroom (we only used the one) was comfortable and we were not disturbed by any outside noise; the shower provided a nice stream of hot water and the toilet seat should win an award for Scotland's best loo view. We had a great time, the property was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The only thing we feel we want to comment on is that the access door was left open on occasion. Otherwise a great stay.
An lovely comfortable interior design..all one could wish. In beautiful setting and location highly recommend…
We really enjoyed our stay at Ghillies Cottage! Although there were only three of us, there is plenty of room for six. It is clean and comfortable. The kitchen has all that you need - maybe invest in a toaster and microwave? There is a nice view of the pasture from the sitting room, foyer, upstairs bathroom and one upstairs bedroom. It was nice to wake up to the sound of sheep! The road is right next to the house, but there are really not many cars that pass by. It is quiet and peaceful, and I recommend it.
WHAT A LOVELY COTTAGE, COMFY, CLEAN, ( BUT SHAME ABOUT THE BASICS.) YOU NEED A ROW OF COAT HOOKS IN THE HALLWAY ( this is Scotland after all!) YOU NEED A WASHING LINE IN THE BACK GARDEN ( for the 'wet things' ) YOU NEED CHAIRS IN THE BEDROOMS...please. I maintain that all self catering cottages should be lived in by their owners for a week, before they let them, just to see whats missing!)
