The country style kitchen is stylish with modern units teamed with cast iron handles & with views of the neighbouring fields from the sink window this really where the designated chef of the house will feel right at home. With a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven and also more importantly a traditional AGA, this really does take centre stage and adds to the authenticity & charm of the kitchen area.

The spacious open plan kitchen/diner also leads into the dining area and truly maximises the space on offer, with a dining table to cater for the whole group this is the perfect place to enjoy to those family favourite meal times or even get stuck into a friendly game of scrabble! With a wall mounted electric fire too, this really will take the chill off any cooler evenings and fill the area with nothing but cosy vibes.

After dinner, head through to the living area. Here you can catch up on your favourite TV series and with the roaring wood burning stove it will be hard not to fall asleep as you will be so relaxed! This is the perfect place for the family to gather and really make memories to last a life time.

Pines Pitch has three spacious, well presented bedrooms, the perfect areas for that much needed lie in you have been promising yourself! Comprising of one ground floor double bedroom which can convert to two single beds and on the first floor a large, plush double bedroom & a separate twin bedroom. On the first floor there is also an additional smaller room with a travel cot, the perfect place for peace and quiet for an infant to slumber.

This family friendly Cabin has a ground floor shower room with flushing WC & sink as well as a wet room with flushing WC & sink on the first floor. There is also a utility room at the back of the property, the perfect place to store those muddy boots or dry those wet paws.

Myself and my husband stayed for 4 nights with our dog to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The property is impressive with lots of space and land, our dog really enjoyed the little woodlands behind the cabin.

While the location is lovely and picturesque, surrounded by greenery and farm animals, it is a bit of a drive from the nearest town (around 20-25 minutes). We didn't mind this though as the drive was lovely and scenic with no traffic (apart from sheep in the road!).

We had an issue with the hot tub on the first night as it hadn't been cleaned. Within an hour of texting the owners someone came out to clean it but we weren't able to use it until the next day. It wasn't a particular warm hot tub either, I noticed a side panel was hanging open so it wasn't being insulated properly so perhaps that was the issue? On our last night the hot tub was too cold to use which was disappointing. Perhaps an upgrade is needed.

The cabin itself was very spacious for the 3 of us and was very clean, despite the outside looking a bit worn. It could do with a lick of paint and a couple of the paving slabs on the steps had come loose which could cause an accident if not careful.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and slow break away.

If you’re after peace and quiet, this is the place to do it. We needed a break from our very busy lives to re charge our batteries and we certainly did,From the moment we arrived to the time we had to leave. The beds were VERY comfortable, and had the best week’s sleep in a long time. It’s a shame we had to leave, we will be returning in the future.

The pros:
On arrival inside the cabin was lovely and clean, although it does require some tlc in certain areas.
The garden was very secure, so our dogs could run around freely.
The views are amazing and the place is very relaxing.

The cons:
The hot tub was quite dirty and one of the filers was covered in dirt, so I’m not sure when it was last cleaned.
The outside garden table and chairs were covered in a green residue, which meant you couldn’t use them.
The kitchen was missing some utensils, such as a tin opener and chopping board, so it meant that the food I had planned to cook for my baby couldn’t be used.
Inside the kettle was covered in lime-scale
and looks like it has never been cleaned, so we didn’t use it.
The ice maker on the freezer was covered in old food and dirt on the inside, so we didn’t use it.

For the price we paid, we did enjoy our stay but I wouldn’t pay any more than £500 for a weekend. The cabin really needs a deep clean inside and out.
